Reminder the Cardinals and Bears play one another later this year. One of them will end up with a win.
Arizona will probably win two to three more games just by having Murray. Maybe more.

Chicago is worse than Arizona imo. Having the Bears win that game is probably essential to the Patriots getting a top two pick. My bet is that Arizona would be favorite.

Belichick can coach the rest of the year, he can’t be in charge of drafting. The 2022 draft is looking to be about as bad a draft as humanly possible. When’s this teams last halfway decent draft? 2012?

I agree, and it makes sense. FWIW, Pats currently have the higher SOS, but it's not by much:

Pats .536
Giants .518
Following up on this, the Giants have a harder remaining schedule. Based on the current records of the teams both teams still have to play, the Pats' remaining strength of schedule is .485, and the Giants' remaining strength of schedule is .526. But that is mainly because the Giants still have to play the Eagles twice.

If we just assume those trends hold up though and the Pats end up with the same record as the Giants, the Pats may end up very close in SOS with the Giants.

Pats also currently have a worse SOS than Arizona, so if they were tied with Arizona they'd likely take the higher pick.

Zach Wilson didn’t listen to enough dolphin sex this week

Detroit 8-2
NE 2-8

Did anyone see that coming?

There's a strong chance that if Arizona drafts ahead of us they take MHJ rather than Drake or Caleb. I don't know the numbers, but I think they got a lot invested in Murray

Anybody watch Quincey Williams play? That dude flys from sideline to sideline.

Getting a team to trade for him/releasing him would be disastrous for their long-term future.

And I am not so sure that Williams/Maye will be that MUCH better than Murray to justify taking a QB. Murray is a top 10ish QB imo. You can definitely win a SB with him.

Murray with MHJ would be a great combo.

Since the Bears own Panthers pick, what are the odds they will trade down and keep Fields? If they do, Pats need to pick #2 to get 1 of the top 2 QBs. Cards and Bears should win at least 1 more each. Giants game is huge, Pats must lose.

I suspect the Jete defense is sick to death of Jete offensive futility.

Uh-oh. Messy Bacon is down.

Depends on who the Coach is. If there’s a new HC, Fields is probably gone and a QB is taken.

Was that a bone from his pinky finger sticking out of the glove of the Jets safety?

They won't take a QB but may trade the pick. They will finish ahead of us though imo
