NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Week 11 Games Thread

Would basically be a 3 game lead over the Giants in the draft standings since they would have 2 fewer wins than the Giants and even if they tied in record eventually, the Giants would have the head to head win.
I found this for draft order:

"In situations where teams finished the previous season with identical records, the determination of draft position is decided by strength of schedule — the aggregate winning percentage of a team’s opponents. The team that played the schedule with the lowest winning percentage will be awarded the higher pick.

If the teams have the same strength of schedule, division or conference tiebreakers are applied. If the divisional or conference tiebreakers are not applicable, or ties still exist between teams of different conferences, ties will be broken the following tie-breaking method:

  1. Head-to-head, if applicable
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games (minimum of four)
  3. Strength of victory in all games"

Pats lose to the Giants I wouldn’t rule out Bill being forced out a lot sooner than we think…
Since they aren't doing it now, I don't think they will regardless until the season ends. The Giants suck but they are on par with us so it's not crazy to lose to them when we lost to the Colts and Washington.

Also at this point, I'm wondering if getting rid of Bill and putting Mayo at interim would just all of a sudden hype up the team enough to rattle off a few wins and Bill might be safer for a tank

I did not see the SOS point, Pats would probably lose that one.

And Mac is still taking snaps with the # 1's.

Santa Claus is coming to town.
If your smurf buddy wasn’t laughably awful that wouldn’t happen.

My favourite actual Super Bowl

Detroit Lions
Jacksonville Jaguars

Can't afford to win that game.

Giants have no real winnable games left after that.

Patriots would still have Denver, Chargers, and Jets left.

Keep things as they are until the end of the season.

Alright we need the NFL to lock in draft positions right now to avoid teams tanking the rest of the year.

Losing to the Giants next week would be massive.

A top 2 pick looks very feasible now after today. Have to think the Cardinals are going to win a few down the stretch.

What's our draft rank now?
3rd pick...Panthers #1 (Bears) and Cardinals #2. Cards should win a couple more games. Panthers will get the top pick. Thought the Giants are tanking but maybe not. Patriots should still finish with more wins. I suspect Patriots end up with #3-#4 pick in the draft when all is said and done.

McDermott might be coaching for his job today…

I guess the thinking is that if you have an easier schedule than someone else, and get a worse record, you are the worst team.

Reminder the Cardinals and Bears play one another later this year. One of them will end up with a win.

Raking leaves. Cleaning gutters today. Donks Vikings will be a good game.
Pats can start whomever at QB. They won't beat this rejuvenated Giants team.

****ing Bears. You could only mess that up if you tried.

I agree, and it makes sense. FWIW, Pats currently have the higher SOS, but it's not by much:

Pats .536
Giants .518

The pats can’t waste this opportunity. They have to secure a top 3 pick.

lol Jete gonna jete. Like the snow falling in winter
