I think you want Wallace on this list.
Prospective starting line is Campbell Wilson Bradbury Onwenu Moses.
Bryant and Jacobs have been the backup tackles. Lowe has been out.
Both Lowe and Jacobs were pretty poor last year. A bad LT is probably more valuable than a bad RT so Lowe could come back and claim a spot over Jacobs.
Brown is clearly the backup C.
Wallace can backup G or T.
Strange can back up C or either G position and is a former first round pick. He offers versatility that Sow and the Robinsons don’t.
I’d go Bryant Strange Brown Wallace Jacobs behind the starters.
OK, I'm fine with NINE of your choices.

I guess the question is which of last year's failures will make the 53: Jacobs or Lowe. For me, both we really bad. However, I think that Lowe is a better player, and as you say a backup LT is more valuable, a good choice for the 10th OL. I think that Bryant is our backup swing OT.

Cole “the” strange “pick” needs a change of address along with sow, Lowe and brown!

A smaller weaker Layden Robinson is a “maul defender” in your mind?

Strange is bigger, stronger, better… it’s up to the Pats if they want to hold onto him. It depends on the depth behind the starters.
yes he is.
I saw Robinson look very good quite often in the run game in games played last year.
I have not seen Strange look good since October of '23.
even when he was playing fairly well, he was never dominating in the run game.
Robinson had moments as a rookie in which he did.

I've mentioned it before... but i will again here. Lowe is behing both Bryant and Jacobs now i think and he is getting paid much more than either 3.4M none of it GTD. In my mind he is an easy cut. Wallace or anyone else they may sign off the WW would cost less if they choose to carry 5 OTs.

As for interior... No idea. So let's look at contracts. Strange is 3.9M and he will get all of that no matter what we do i think. Every other interior guy more or less cost the same and will save the same amount if cut. So IMO it comes down to this. If we believe Strange is not really better or worse than anyone else we may as well keep him. No one there feel irreplaceable to me in next years draft or FA.

As long as we think there is a worthy back up to be had there i see no issue. If not I'd be willing o clear out the entire room and sign a FA who we know be a decent back up. But since they haven't done that yet, and you don't want to shake up the OL room in the middle of the season they must be okay with what their depth offers now.

I agree but L Robinson's deficiency coming out of college was pass blocking on stunts or picks because he can not recover quickly is small spaces. Robinson had moments as a rookie where this was obvious and opponents were exploiting that weakness.

Kobee minor was a pick when wolf lost a bet and was ordered to draft the worst draft pick amongst all remaining agents as mr.irrelevant.

We all knew it was a wth pick.

Robinson is running with the third string, the last grouping. He’s also smaller and weaker than Strange. Strange is on the outside looking in because of his contact and Wilson’s emergence. If Vrabel wants a bigger offensive line Robinson is not the answer.

Robinson was a truly horrible LG last year and cannot pass block. Other than that, he is a fine RG prospect.

The need is for a backup LG and C. Strange can do both, most importantly LG. And yes, Strange and Wallace can both backup RG if needed. although my preference is for a dedicated backup RG as part of the 53, even if it a pickup from another team.

Should have been an OL guy like medical redshirt center Seth McLaughlin who played at Alabama/THE Ohio State or developmental OT Logan Brown who played at Wisconsin until he hit a guy with his fist in practice then transferred to Kansas.

Jared Wilson our best guy on the OL? He's the total package. Great addition.

Why is Garrett Bradbury sucking so bad? Is mediocrity Ben Brown better? And the strange case of Mr 69 is a mystery to me. Whither are you going, Coke Strange?

Why all the hate for Campbell - this guy will adapt and grow during this season. We're gonna love him.
Strange gets so much crap - but he's a valuable vet that can be versatile at G & C
I'm more concerned with Moses - I don't know how he stays healthy for even half a season. I hope Bryant keeps rising.
I've been a supporter of Brown since last year - he might be our 2nd half starter at C if Bradbury can't hold up.
Wilson & Wallace may end up our future at C & LG - but Wilson may start at LG this year, with Wallace hanging around as a rotational guy who has experience at both Tackles.

Defensive lineman have the advantage in one on ones… and we have some amazing defensive tackles.

It’s only a problem if he’s consistently getting beat in games. We only gave up one sack versus Washington and it wasn’t Bradbury or Strange… it was the two rookies getting worked on a stunt. Practices makes perfect…

Im a little puzzled about Wallace not getting reps at Tackle.

I'm sold on Bryant, but we need a second back up OT. I think Lowe is fine as a back up at LT, but he's not a RT. Jacobs sucks at both positions.

I thought we saw numerous instances of Robinson moving people like a young Shaq Mason
I am thinking with some coaching and added experience, he can be a very good OG. maybe he is not that finished product yet, but can he be? I believe yes. If Wilson is next years starting OC, there will be a need for a LG next year. Maybe also a RG depending on Onwenu's performance against his cap hit. Robinson on the PS with coaching could be a candidate next year.

I don't think there is a need for a back up OC. Brown has already taken that position, and Wilson may be the starting OC by years end, or next year.

I think using salary as a reason for Strange falling out is incorrect. if he was the best player for the position, he would be playing. he isn't.
he simply is not good enough. perhaps it's because of his prior injury.
