Yep. Also, Elijah McGuire can ball too.

IDK.

McGuire has had one short-yardage TD in each of the past three games. Between the 20s, though, he's averaged under 3.0 ypa. Some of that seems likely due to the Jete OL that has lost three guys to IR.

OTOH, McGuire's receiving stats have greatly improved over the past three weeks since Darnold has been back - not gaudy numbers, but much better consistency.

McGuire had much better stats last season, but then he started this season on IR with a foot injury, and has only been back playing since Nov. 4th.

Subliminal so you will buy peaches.

Georgias # 1 export.

And yet, the giant peach water tower (the same one that appears in House of Cards) that I drove by on the way there is in SC.

The Pats gashed the best run defense in the AFC last week

Actually, even before the game, the Bills run-D was almost as mediocre to poor as the Jete. It was the Bills pass defense that was top-notch, which is why the Pats didn't attack it very much.

As you say, though, the Jete pass-D and run-D have been pretty poor, and their pass-D probably didn't get any better with Claiborne going to IR. So, the Pats offense should have more viable options and success against the Jete. ----- Should.

OTOH, the Jete pass offense has been much better the past three games (way better than the Bills), so the Pats defense/secondary needs to play consistently well for four quarters.

Not sure what Giardi is trying to say posting this but you'll notice 2 of those QBs listed are ones Pats played recently and here was their rating in the games they played the Pats

Cousins Week 13 vs NE 70.4 rating
Roethlisberger Week 16 vs NE 79.9 rating

and that's with 2 good-to-great WR duos.

Maybe it's his way of noting that the Pats defense will need to take Darnold as seriously as they took Cousins and Roethlisberger.

Trying to get your money before you make it to GA.

Like the gas station selling at a penny less a gallon.

Crowd the box. See if the passing game can hurt you outside.

News to fire up jets? Or news to make sure they lose moral and get high pick?

Or try to motivate squad saying firing depends on outcome vs pats?

Who knows

I got the info from a NY online paper. I don't think there are conditions. He's done.

Any chance Duke Dawson plays, or he another healthy scratch? Or shall we say, isn’t good enough to take snaps from JJ or Jason Mc.

Or are we looking at a case of playing OVERLY cautious with this dude?

I doubt they care any more. it's not like playing hard for Bowles tomorrow will result in him keeping his job. However, I can see Darnold trying hard since beating the Pats would allow him to end the season on a high note.

I don't doubt that they'll play hard for Bowels tomorrow. The mission for the first half especially will therefore be for our QB & PK to Not leave a TD's worth of points on the field, again, by doing more stupid, choke-ass sh!t. The sooner that the J-E-T-E understand that they have no chance to win the game, no matter how much they want to give their Players' Coach a going-away present, the better-off we'll all be.

Too bad. I like him as their HC.

So do the fans in Buffalo & Miami but really what difference does the coach make when we all know the true source of Jete stank is the rotten head on that fish.

Dawson missed the last couple weeks of Camp and the first 8 games of the regular season as a rookie. Not surprising that he's behind Jackson and JMac in development. The Pats have a lot of DBs playing well and all of them are healthy right now. I don't think Dawson being a healthy scratch is necessarily a reflection on his abilities or his health.

The #2 seed and a playoff BYE hang in the balance for the Pats this game. While the Jete have a relatively weak defense for the "discombobulated" Pats offense to face, the Jete offensive passing attack has been pretty decent for the past three weeks. I'm not sure that today would be the best time to experiment with a rookie DB's debut, unless the Pats are blowing the Jete out by the 3rd-Q.

Save for us, the entire AFC East is at the bottom of that statistic. Nobody in our division can move the ball lately, including us.

I just read a week or so ago that the Bills' defense leads the league in forcing 3-and-outs. That maybe partly explains why the 'Fins and the JETE are included in the "worst". The Bills are down there because their offense flat out sucks.

But the Bills' defense has actually been very good by many measures:

The Bills' D has also allowed the 5th fewest total 1st downs in the league (276), behind JAX (265), CHI (266), BAL (268), and TEN (274), and ahead of Minny (286).

The Bills' D has also allowed the fewest passing 1st downs in the league (148), better than JAX (149), MIN (153), BAL, (158), and TEN (167).

The Bills' D has also allowed the fewest passing yds/gm (183), followed by JAX (194), MIN (198), BAL (199), ARZ (210), and TEN (213). CHI is 8th (228). DET is 10th (231).

In terms of Total Yds Allowed/game, the BAL defense is best (284), followed by BUF (299), MIN (308), CHI (309), JAX, (309), DAL (322), TEN (327).

TEN, JAX, CHI, and MIN are also in the top-7 in fewest points allowed.

The Pats offense has certainly struggled this season due to their own issues. But it should also be noted that they've played a lot of the top defenses in the league this season.

Hey since this is the JETE super bowl this year (again) does everybody get another ring when we win?

segue thought: Anybody who otherwise thinks the GOAT conversation is even marginally close b/w Montana/Brady, how many JETE Super Bowls has Tom Brady won by now?

Mic drop.
