Virtual online draft. What could go wrong?

If only the league had about 6-8 weeks to prepare for this entire situation.

It really makes you feel like you are in safe hands in terms of their prep work for the preseason / regular season.

Mind blowing that this hasn’t been an easier transition. As others have stated : phones should be used as well as tech. They should have had the virtual mock draft three weeks ago.

Honestly makes me more confident than ever. You know BB has been combing over every single scenario for weeks.

A functional televised extravaganza broadcast from dozens of locations over an already constrained interweb being shared with the world’s quarantined and draftnik cellar dwellers.....that’s a challenge.

A bit odd some coaches feel compelled to text reporters in real time about tech issues.

Yeah, this draft is going to be an event. This is usually prime NBA and NHL playoff time, but we got nothing, just the draft and esports. That's it. People are going to be dying to watch. If it was just selecting players, they could do a conference call or discord or something. But they have to televise the spectacle and who the hell knows how any of this will work.
