Ian, is the VIP membership a yearly thing? I will gladly pay again to help support the site...$18 a year is a small price to pay for the hours of work time this site gets me through.

    Hey blackglass3,

Yes, it's an annual thing. I'll be sending out reminders when many of them start coming up (June 21st I believe was the first day where most people signed up). I'm working on some extras that you'll hopefully get this year to make it more worthwhile. So I'll be in touch on that soon :)

Does it get rid of ads?

Is there a way to get rid of GIFs in signatures?

I can hardly read this board anymore - I run Mozilla with pretty high security (have to for my job), and this board is like dial-up for me now.

Yes, it gets rid of all (or nearly all) ads.

    You can do that now.

Click on your user name, in the upper right hand side of this (or any) page.

Scroll down on the left hand side, and under Settings you will see Preferences; click on Preferences.

The 4th box under Options is "Show people's signatures with their messages". Uncheck that box, and then beneath that click on "Save Changes".

    Hope the above helps.
