Nice to look at this site again and see actual Patriots numbers instead of "*" lol

Pats control their destiny for the #3 seed. Need help for 1 or 2. 99% chance of making the playoffs.

This chart is also interesting.

There apparently is still a very small path to the #1 seed if the Pats win only 1 of their next 7. Lol

I think we’ll make the playoffs but I’m not sold on the number 1 seed yet. I’m guessing we’ll lose a couple more and go 13-4.

The next few weeks will be interesting for NFL fans, regardless of rooting interest.
AFC East actually takes a back seat to the closer AFC West and AFC North races.

Looks like Steelers or potentially chiefs could miss out playoffs .

I feel chargers might inch up higher. We need 4 wins to make sure we qualify for playoffs. 2 jets , 1 Giants, 1 fins and 1 Bengals ( 4 out of these 5 hopefully)

Yeah, Steelers have lost 3 of their last 4 after it looked like they were a lock to win the AFCN
Meanwhile the Ravens have won three straight.

Chiefs at Denver this week is a huge game for both teams.

If the Pats win and Chiefs (#8) lose I wonder how early we can clinch a playoff spot. There will be a 3.5 game gap on #8 (Pats have tiebreaker) with 6 to play

Regarding the Steelers next 8 Games: I think they can win 6 of them that gets' them to 11 wins. They have the Browns - Bengals and Dolphins still on tap. They host both the Bill and Ravens @ Home: if you can't win @ home you have no business in the Playoffs. The Ravens are playing but they still have a First place Schedule: and I feel that slow start will do em in at the end. The Ravens have Three Road Games to close out the season with us sandwiched in there. We are not going to Baltimore to kiss Lamar's rings...oh wait.

It goes without saying the Patriots have the Easiest schedule all things considered. Of all the AFC Teams the only one I trust to finish well is KC. Buffalo could be in trouble: their next Three are Tough winnable but tough sledding: Home vs Bucs @ Houston and @ Pitt. Houston have been a disappointment but they still have players: they can play a spoiler role.

It's going to Huge for Denver; I think KC is living rent free in all those AFC West opponents heads. IF it's a must win Game I'm taking Mahomes 24/7. We'll see if Bo Nix can bring it.

Patriots SOS remaining: .338. Lol

The only way Denver wins that game is if it's like 13-10 or something. They're going to miss Surtain in this one.
As much as I think Mahomes has regressed, Nix has fallen off a cliff.

Looking at how it's setting up right now i think the best scenario that's actually realistic would be us getting the 1 seed and the Chargers the 7 and them beating either Denver/Indy at the 2 in the Wildcard Round and coming to Foxborough in the Divisional Round while the Chiefs/Bills/Ravens are all fighting it out.

There are definitely potential pitfalls in getting that coveted bye, including rust, an interruption in momentum, distractions like being told how great you are, and difficulty retrieving intensity. Many a favored team has sleepwalked their way through an opening playoff game on the way to their premature elimination.

For the Patriots, we have had success and even relied on the free pass to the next round, taking advantage of the chance to physically recuperate, prepare and strategize.

Vrabel's experience will be crucial, especially since the Patriots are a young team.

How it looks today:

If you are wishing for a low-ranked upset to make the 1-seed path easier…I don’t see Jax beating dolts. Volts & Jill’s beating their home opponents = odds. But most likely means we face Jill’s for 3d time ( w our wonderful HF advantage -both losses haha).

NFC picture seems clearer, just Rams are really a 3-seed bumped down by Div winner rules to be a pretend 5 seed. Just means the NFCCG actually gets played one week early.

I just want to win the East, knock those table smashing morons off their fraudulent throne. Everything beyond that is the icing on the cake.

Sheesh, that's a lot of vitriol there.

Do you mean the Bills or the Chiefs?

Just win baby.
