Branch has played in all 16 games just one time in his career.

Aren't there supposedly 4 Randy Jr's expected to be in the draft next year? ****, we could trade back 2 or 3 times with the Raiders 1st and still be able to nab atleast one of them while loading up with another 2nd or a first the year after. Jackson is not the answer. Now if Andre johnson or Larry Fitz were somehow to become available, I'd be all over it. I'd rather have a more physical, slower version of Randy than Randy Jr. Give me someone who goes up and picks the ball out of the air before anyone has a chance. Dont get me wrong, I love Randy, but he leaves a bit to be desired in that regard.

Why would a team give up a high pick for a player with suspension issues, one more infringement, and its a season lost.

I think he will stay in SD.
