Vikings vs. Jets Thread

yes because the number of yards is the only stat that determines how great a QB is.... Wow nitpick much? Come on, i'm sure you can find some other stat where Sanchez isn't as good.

So Brady through four games was far superior to Sanchez in yards, completion percentage, and TDs. But hey, Sanchez threw one less pick so clearly they are on par.

It doesn't matter what I say. :lol2: I say I like LT and everyone jumps on that, I say Sanchez is playing great and people jump on that. I could say Peyton Manning is a great QB and people be like, "omg you're an idiot, Manning sucks!!!" :lol2:

The fact is that Sanchez has played well so far this season, especially compared to last year. You can either realize that or live in denial but considering what they did to us in the last game, it may not be smart to continue underestimating them.

You can say he is having a good year, but comparing him to Brady of 2007 is dumb. He is not even close to that. Brady had 25 incomplete passes on 120 attempts in the first 4 games of 2007 with 13 TD's.

2nd fumble by Favre.

Randy is going to regret playing with a QB who needs a colostomy bag.

Wrong on so many levels ...

The Vikings defense is the only thing stopping this from being a 30 plus points route. Well, that and the Jets passing game.

2007 Patriots won on the back of Brady and the offense. 2010 Jets so far are winning on Defense/Running Game. Not saying sanchez hasn't progressed this year but comparing his season 3 games in to the best season ever by a quarterback is kinda dumb

I used the Brady comparison to try to point out that Sanchez is playing really well but as usual, people take anything i say and turn it into something big.

Hey everyone, "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me".

Stop taking the bait!

The Tavaris Jackson era is about to begin (again) in Minnesota. God Chilly is a freaking idiot.

Tina, there's no doubt in my mind that you can become a great poster here. Your passion is admirable and it is clear to me that you are a fan of the team. The fact is that you have a lot to learn about football and what the tradeoffs in the game are. You are being directly adversarial towards some of the most knowledgeable posters on here. These posters could teach you a lot an ultimately make you a much better educated fan of the game. Chill out and take the time to build out your knowledge before you are so contentious. There's a lot to be gleaned here, and while some are just cantankerous old bastards, the overwhelming majority are truly good people with a lot to share.

Apparently Brett has a new way to turn the ball over

These days it seems the only balls Brett doesn't drop are the ones in his palms during his personal Internet photo shoots

You really want to debate how Sanchez is doing compared to Brady '07????

Are you ok?

BTW, tonight's game, that is giving you the inspiration to make this statement, sees Mr. Next-Brady hitting 14 out of 31 for 136 yards right now midway through the 3rd quarter.

Yeah, that really harkens back to Brady '07..........Herbert Brady of Pocatello, Idaho.

Favre is having an awful game. I'm going to put money on the fact that not all is well on the homefront with Ms. Favre, after those allegations. His mind is not in the game.

Was Suzy reporting on the elbow or the junk?

Randy is dreamin' about Brian Hoyer, now

favre has screwed the pats in 1996,2008-twice and will do again this yr. i wont be surprised if he comes to foxboro and plays like old times just to mess it up further...

14-31 with a 58 isn't a good game by a quarterback. I don't know what Jaws and Gruden are talking about. I guess Favre has set the bar so low with his play this game, that Sanchez looks like a pro bowler?

It's a BAD comparison. Also, you can't just throw out the first game. Through 4 games he isn't even close to what Brady did in the first 4 games in '07.

The truth is that Sanchez' best game is pretty much a normal game from Brady.
