I disagree. There are two issues: (1) Was she traumatized? (2) Was it extremely rude?

The answer to the first question is no, she was not traumatized. She thought it was funny. Lets not make more of this than it is.

The answer to the second question is yes, it was very rude and very classless from a fan base that thinks they are high and mighty and that their QB who takes pleasure in shoving is naked as s in a womens face is funny is the somehow the most class person in all of the NFL.

The fact that she was not harmed by the booing doesn't make it less wrong.

Disagree all you want. You can't tell me she won't think of that for the rest of her life. Will she need therepy? Of course not. But the fact remains she was affected especially at her age. She thought it was funny? Why do people laugh at a wake then? It's just a natural reaction to protect ones self from great sadness or fear. I'm not making "more" out of this, but a little compassion and understanding goes a long way. She 's a kid for gods sake.

Bob Kraft gives Anna Grant tickets to AFC Championship Game

Ha! What an awesome story. I just heard this on Mike & Mike. Anna, the girl who was booed in Indianapolis during the Indy/Chargers game, has been invited to the AFC Championship game and she will be on the field for the coin toss. Think she'll be cheered at Gillette?

Bob Kraft is the best owner. What a great thing to do.

eta: mods can you merge with existing thread....which has been updated?

She should use her second ticket to invite Peyton or Polian. She could leave the ticket at the Will Call window.

Actually she got 5 of them. Mom Dad and 2 bros. Peyton might be more interested in a game in Greenbay though.

You got to love this according to Colts fans, this was actually a classless act by Kraft. Booing justified, honoring the kid evil. Got to love some peoples priorities.

Great article and shows how Kraft can't get over himself on this matter. Which of the 7 deadly sins does he cheerish more? Is it Gluttony, Greed, or Pride? This to me seems like nothing but a form of propaganda. Kraft does realize that many NFL fans aren't actually upset with the fact that the Patriots are undefeated (at least not me) but has more to do with the spygate scandal denial is the first step and it is amazing that he is in denial that people still are upset with the spygate scandal. Before any Pats fan comes out to say anything about all teams do it blah blah blah, I will say this even if all teams do it the Patriots got caught with their hand in the cookie jar. So in otherwords if all teams are jumping off the Sears tower the Patriots should? Curious as to what a Police Officer is going to say to a drunk driver whom just had an accident and he retorts with "Well everyone at the bar was drinking and driving so I don't see what the big deal is.".

Before I start coming off as showing Envy, Wrath, or even heaven forbid Sloth let me say this. I will patiently sit back and watch as the Kraft walks the girl out onto the field for the coin toss and the Patriot fans cheer her on not just because she accomplished a goal but out of spite for what happened this past Sunday as well. Then I will kindly pat my son on the head and thank him for clapping and praising this young lady with me while we were at the Chargers/Colts game this past Sunday. I forgive the Patriots for the spygate scandal and will come out and say congrats on the perfect regular season and whatever may come beyond that you have a great team. I won't cheer on the Patriots because I am no Patriots fan, but whatever they do they do because of the talent they have. I will also live by what I told my son after the Chargers/Colts game was over and he had to watch Phillip Rivers go into a frenzy of immature acts: "It's okay, the Colts just have to come back next year and work hard we will be back." I couldn't be more proud of the group of men Dungy, Polian, and Irsay have fielded for the Colts. I couldn't be more proud of the Coach (Tony Dungy) Polian and Irsay have brought in regardless if we go 3-13, 13-3, win a Super Bowl, or have an early exit in the playoffs and not many teams can say that. I feel blessed by itays be thankfull for it.

The last line: "I feel blessed by itays be thankfull for it."

He prays to a God named "itays"?????

Btw, Link??????

Yup! Good reading! Methinks MiniMarvin88 has been experiencing a psychiatric crisis the past few days!

To their credit, several of the Indy fans are trying to shake some sense into him.

Obviously it was a loser move to boo the Punt Pass and Kick contest winner.

That doesn't mean she was traumatized or that she's bothered. She's probably ecstatic. She gets tickets to two playoff games. She'll get a huge cheer from Patriots fans. She's obviously a sports fan and almost certainly an athlete... is she more traumatized than the freshman football player who goes to an opposing stadium where high school football is big?

Assuming she was laughing so she wouldn't cry is condescending. She was probably thinking ("17-0")... I wanted her to hold up three fingers for the "scoreboard" response. Even if Kraft didn't invite her, she'd have had a great story to tell ... the time she won a national contest and then walked into an opposing stadium and stood tall. She's obviously driven and competitive (since she won the competition) so you shouldn't assume she's a fragile flower.. she's a high school athlete not an elementary school finger painter.

Agree with every word. By her reaction at the time, and her quotes in this piece, it seems she's taken it all in the right way.

I say boo her again. See what Mr Kraft will do for her next!

I would have loved it as you said, held 3 fingers up and then right after give em all the BIRD!

Turns out that the Colts fans weren't in fact booing. The booing was piped in.

Anna Rocks! We live a few miles from her in Portsmouth, and couldn't be more proud. Who's jersey was she wearing and will she wear in the Bolts game? I'm guessing # 12.

She should have a Favre jersey hidden underneath a Pats jersey. She'll get applauded by the crowd, then once she's midfield, she'll turn heel WWF style, rip off the jersey, get booed, maybe whack a feel people with a steel chair, then then Packers get her SB tix where she'll go back to wearing a Pats jersey.

This is just too easy - playing the emotions of the flag/uniform. What's classy about that? It's all about the Patriots, not class. Class is an overused, misunderstood word. It has less to do with "feel good" than doing the right thing regardless of team affiliation.

Bob Kraft, for all the good things that he has done, held a gun to the head of the state of MA taxpayers before threatening to move to CT. Only circumstances prevented that deal from removing the Patriots from Foxboro.

Bob Kraft, for all the good things that he has done still raises the rent every year. What I mean by that is - go try to rent a parking spot and see what it sets you back.

Bob will remove parking fees for camp. Is this a favor to the fans or simple merchandising for a product that won't make him much money on ticket sales anyway?

Now we're going to hear all the Saint Bob stories because he's going to "help" some little girl? You think this is about the girl? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

This is merchandising at its hideous best, and it's right up there with draping yourself in the flag to make people believe that you are not a criminal.

Be prepared to be bombarded by people who think it's blasphemy to even think that Kraft is all about making money. You should be throwing rose petals at Kraft's feet if you ask them.

Anna may "rock" but she's about to be used for a merchandising campaign.

I hope you don't really believe that this manipulation of the symbols of uniform and allegiance has one damned thing to do with the humanity of a little girl's feelings. If you believe that then you probably will vote for a liar and thief in the next election, because liars and thieves create the same illusions - the illusions that they know we want to see.

We want to see it so badly that we'll deliberately falsify the circumstances to fake our own selves out. This whole thing is about one-upping the Colts in a lame attempt to make the Patriots organization look like saints. PATHETIC, and this girl, Anna, should tell them to stick it.

Oh, but she wants the cheers of the crowd too, so she'll gladly allow herself to be manipulated and used. She'll delude herself into believing that the fans actually care about her. There will be this big outpouring of phony love and everybody will go home thinking that they all took part in something special. What is going to be special is the kraftiness of the illusion.

No you think I don't like Bob Kraft. I didn't say that. I don't like some of Bob's allegiance to Corporate Values, sure, but I don't think he's all bad. I didn't make it out to be black and white - that is something that lame brains like to do. I just can't imagine thinking that this dog and pony show is for real, and that Bob's motives are about the girl.
