Unused AFC Championship Game Refund????

If the U.S. Govt waited 4 months to pay your tax refund, everyone would be upset. If any store waited 4 months to issue a credit or refund on a return, everyone would be upset. But the precious Patriots, let's give them the benefit of the doubt. I love the homerism...."Interest free loan....no problem."

As far as the wording on the agreement, I suspect it says something like, "In a timely fashion." Clearly, Kraft is working the float. Holding $10 mill for an extra 6 months gains him tens of thousands if not more. It's good business if you can get away with it.
You are pretending to know what the agreement states, which is perilous.
$10 million? Really? You think that every season ticket holder cancelled their tickets? He wasn't forced to buy the ticket, and he agreed to the terms of what would happen if there wasn't a game.
It has nothing to do with homerism it has to do with whining inappropriately, but certainly lets just have an argument about who you think he may have agreed to so you can pretend to support your position.

By the way, the US Govt holds my tax money all year long and then takes what ever time it wants to send me my refund. However, I did not agree to conditions of prchasing something from them, I abide by the law and pay my taxes. A totally different situation.
Again, if the timeframe of a refund was so critical to him, he could have checked that out before buying the ticket, as there were many other people in line to buy them.

Should read the mans statement before saying he should be more pissed about st. I don't get all the bashing from you people to this guy. He asked a simple question and all you blowhards come storming in like he threatened to kill the krafts. He is pissed and rightfully so. He asked if anyone got there money back not how many dbags can respond to his post. You don't know if he needs the money or what. I am sure he will be supporting his pats in the upcoming season and beyond but for you people to storm in here like you are krafts savior please stop.

I thoroughly read his post, hence why I said "If I were you"

He should be pissed but he has no reason to come on here and ***** about it....he could have simply asked a question and I'm sure nobody would have had a problem.

You do realise that Kraft probably doesn't read this forum, so you might aswell keep trying to contact them!

While it is probably true Bob Kraft doesn't read every thread. I am willing to be dollars to donuts someone in the PR department does check this forum on a regular basis.

This absolutely is the appropriate place for the OP to complain about the customer service department of the NEP. If for no other reason to offer warning to others who are perspective STH of what appears to me to be extremely shady business practices.

While with the current winning record Kraft is not going to have a hard time selling tickets no matter how outrageous the business practices are. However if this is his norm, once the team no longer has Brady/Belichick and are a sub-500 team. (it is not a matter of if, but when, every team goes thru cycles) he is going to have a hard time selling tickets.

I'm just wondering if it's a miscommunication....... He says HIS BROTHER failed to renew the tickets, so odds are his brother is the one who would be getting contacted regarding any refund, no?

Wow, a few of these responses are dumb as hell. Sure this guy shouldn't have called out Bob Kraft in particular, or called people "azzholes" lol... but he is OWED his money by the organization. $120 isn't small change to me either, and I'd be pissed. I hope you exhaust all your resources and get your money back (or more for the inconvenience).

Also, this is pretty shameful of the Pats... very bad business organization/policy.

I don't think anyone is suggesting the OP doesn't have a legit gripe. I think it has more to do with how he's handling it.

Customers get screwed by mistakes/bad business policies every day. Doesn't mean we cry about it and name call and freak out. I've seen people spazzing out over the simplest of things, saying crazy stuff like threatening to stalk CEOs at their homes to taking down networks to burning places down to physical violence. I've seen morons complain to guys pumping gas about the price of the gallon, as if the guy at the pump sets the global price for oil every morning.

Just because you have a legit problem doesn't entitle you to act like a complete ******* about it. Of course, so many people are brought up with a ridiculous sense of entitlement that they think they can and should act like this.

I'm just tired of the lack of accountability in the world. The OP calls the FO a bunch of *******s for not being on top of his refund. Meanwhile, the OP didn't even know he was entitled to a refund since his season tickets got cancelled without his knowledge. Excuse me, who's not on top of the situation?

Yeah, $120 matters. But considering season tickets aren't cheap and how much has been spent over the years, let's not act as if it's the difference between life and death here. If that $120 is that significant, then maybe the $1000+ before it shouldn't have been spent.

If his season-ticket contract says he's entitled to a refund, and he's met the conditions for a refund, then he clearly has a right to be angry about not getting it. I believe that at some point, holding on to his money would become a criminal act, or at least a negligent one.

This might not be the forum to vent that anger in, but three months is more than enough time for the team to issue a refund. I've never waited three months for a refund from any business.

All this assumes that he's telling the truth and there isn't more to the story.

Precisely.

Next post will be wailing about the doofus brother sneaking off with the refund cash.

You came to the wrong place to b1tch about Kraft.

If you do not get your money back in the next couple of months, I would
contact someone like WBZ TV newstips or the Herald.

You would be suprised... they may follow up on the story.

A few years back I did not receive my playoff tickets.
For what they charge for Handling fees, the payoff tickets should not
come general mail.

When I called the ticket office, they just kept saying that tickets were
were being sent out every day. A couple days later I would call and
get the same girl at the ticket office. She would tell me the same thing.
When I told her that four people I knew that had season tickets had
received their tickets 2+ weeks ago, she told me that I should still be
receiving them in the mail. When I asked her if I could come to the ticket
office and get my tickets, she said no.

I got the name of a bigwig in Marketing and called him and he forward me to the same witch in the ticket office. I hung up on her and called him back. I told him that they should not be sending the tickets general mail after what they charge for a handling fee. He took my name and never called back (no suprise).

The Wednesday before the game I made a last ditch effort of calling
the ticket office before I put my tickets on ticket exchange for sale.
I got lucky, A guy answered the phone and said that it was too late
to re-issue me new tickets. He suggested that I come to the ticket office
and get my tickets. I got his name and I was at the ticket office within
90 minutes. Within 2 minutes I had my tickets. If the witch who answered
the phone previously, had done this it would have saved me a lot of
frustration.

I made a post on here a couple years ago, how I know the Patriots
are scalping tickets out of town, while they crack down on people selling
tickets on ebay and stub hub.

Nobody wanted to hear it !

The seats next to mine are filled every games with fans from out of town.
They all pay a different price depending on the opponent. I assumed
a ticket agency owned the tickets. I then stuck up a conversation
with a guy during a playoff game and he told me he was a vendor who
got his tickets from the Patriots. If the Patriots own the tickets, why are
they being sold out of town for a profit? Is this any different than people
selling them on stub hub or ebay?

What about the people on the waiting list?

Nobody wants to hear anything negative about Kraft.

House seats...The worst kept secret on Broadway is how theaters hold back the best seats. The treasurer buys the seats for face, then sells them to the brokers for cash. We are talking tens of thousands of dollars nightly for hit shows. The Red Sox engage in this practice, same with concerts....in fact concert promoters would lose big bucks if the house seat scam wasn't part of the equation.... and now we know that Mr. Kraft works it as well. But on this site....Pats Good, World Bad.

WOW. Nothing like being a hypocrite. Bashing the guy? Hardly. Also, he didn't just ask a simple question. He decided to exaggerate his point by calling Kraft names.

You should follow your own advice instead of calling people dbags since you clearly didn't bother to read what people wrote.

I may be confusing you with someone else, but this is like the 3rd thread [EDIT: at least 3rd] you've made on this board whining about your season tickets and saying how you won't be renewing yours. Makes it look like there is some agenda here

No. Most of the comments weren't Dbag remarks. Clearly, the issue is with your definition of dbag. Not with my feelings..
