"Unfamiliar Uneasiness"

Personally I say cut the bologna...

Read the article, unless I missed something it's just a rehashing of previous stories and not an on-the-ground level assessment of things at all.

So speculative type stuff with a clickbait article title that suggest something other than what the article has to say.

I don't default to naysaying news just because I don't like it, but this is an opinion piece. I'll wait for actual camp reports before I'll buy into the friction that I believe happened over the past 1-2 years playing into this year.

"I don't default to..."...that's a west coast idiom, isn't it? A silicon valley language vestige...I'm gonna try it out here in R.I.. Maybe it'll get me into the Black Pearl without having to duke the maitre 'd a double sawbuck...

Yeah a lot of us people from Maine use west coast lingo. I'm posting this from a San Fran bathhouse.

It's a fine idiom and I'm always keen to learn new ones.

Perhaps you could share some, @Joker -- if you have any that won't get me punched or fired if I use them.

Not sure have ever seen so many writers who want to profit from their predicted demise of the Patriots, all charter members of the "I told you so nation"... instead of enjoying the ride, they all Felger, Borges and Shaugnessy "wanna be's"...

It's like a lottery ticket that costs nothing. Eventually someone will be right, because all things end, and no one will be held really accountable for all the wrong predictions. So you just keep prognosticating doom until it happens, and whoever was closest gets some instant notoriety as "The one who saw it coming..."

Then they can say they told us so...

Nothing special in that story to comment on, and a real lack of understanding just how deep the position rosters go to provide for an entertaining camp. There are multiple position groups with terrific players battling for one or two spots on the roster - WR, TE, RB, secondary and DL. I'm most concerned about LB and what we'll end up with at QB behind Brady.

Camp starts today! I'm looking forward to reports from our men and women in Foxboro. I'll be down there next week for aome sun and look-see myself.

"Unfamiliar Uneasiness"

Happens when humans buy a different brand of litter for the litter box.

Some media personalities will beat a drum of negativity about this team.
Perhaps some day they will be right.
