A silicon valley language vestige...I'm gonna try it out here in R.I.. Maybe it'll get me into the Black Pearl without having to duke the maitre 'd a double sawbuck...

You’re writing another book? Why?It's a fine idiom and I'm always keen to learn new ones.
Perhaps you could share some, @Joker -- if you have any that won't get me punched or fired if I use them.

If anyone can help with that it’s Joker. To take my mind off Malcolm Butler and Bill Belichick?
Or chase your tail.Personally I say cut the bologna...
Not sure have ever seen so many writers who want to profit from their predicted demise of the Patriots, all charter members of the "I told you so nation"... instead of enjoying the ride, they all Felger, Borges and Shaugnessy "wanna be's"...
It's like a lottery ticket that costs nothing. Eventually someone will be right, because all things end, and no one will be held really accountable for all the wrong predictions. So you just keep prognosticating doom until it happens, and whoever was closest gets some instant notoriety as "The one who saw it coming..."
Some media personalities will beat a drum of negativity about this team.
Perhaps some day they will be right.
