Says the Jets are trying to convince themselves, but pretty much say its hard to make up a 6 td difference in
your head.

I think the critical part of this game is New England needs to come out again and play with the same tenacity they did in the last game, and play with the same intensity throughout and not let up. I had a discussion with someone the other day about the fact we've seen them really focused down the stretch of making sure they play a complete game for four quarters, and I'm hoping that continues through the postseason.
I think the other big part of this game is whether or not Belichick can convince the young guys that they're not quite as good as some of them think they might be. They already appear to understand that, but obviously in the playoffs there's less margin for error. You lose, and you don't get another game after that to bounce back...at least not for another seven months.

If the Jets can come out and establish the run and chew time off of the clock - it's going to be a tough game.
If we can come up and hang 10+ on them quickly I think it will be a Patriots' win going away. What happened 2 months ago doesn't matter now. If anything the Jets are sort of off the hook if they lose now, they're the plucky underdogs who are playing with house money. Everyone expects them to lose.
I'm probably in the minority here. This game has blowout written all over it.
It's got nothing to do with 45-3, or even that they've already beaten us. We are monumentally better then them as a team. We'll be rested, and the razor has been a "house of horrors" for RR traditionally.
I don't think the earlier blow out will play any factor. I just think that we are that much better then them. Certainly over the last 5-6 weeks. If sanzcheeze plays like he did yesterday, this game won't even be entertaining.
Personally I think its one of 3 things. On tv now.
