Tripping calls were bad, but definitely a cop out.

NFL officials being incompetent? Colour me surprised! We got screwed on that offside in Baltimore and they blew tripping penalties. Will there ever be accountability?

Funny how the New England mediots (and so the fans) spend more time on this than on the rather obvious no-call OPI (ilegal pick) on the Ravens crucial 4th and 4 a few weeks ago.

I mean, seriously, just let it go. It is what it is - there are bad calls in every game and these weren't even game-deciding.

The 1st one looked phantom.
On the 2nd one, the OL extended his leg & foot out fully as if to trip, which was a little hard to see on the replay cause his foot was partially obscured and the lower leg extension was a little delayed.
Our rusher didn’t appear to actually trip over it but did kind of go down, so from the ref’s position behind the QB it had to look like tripping. Can’t blame him for calling that one.

I am now seeing story after story stating as fact that the NFL has admitted that both these calls were incorrect. Yet a search of actual NFL links shows no such statement has been made. As far as I can tell, a Dallas newspaper "quoting a source" is saying that this happened and yet, even the Cowboys haven't come out and confirmed that this happened.
