I'm a guy that likes Strange...

Join the club, Brother.

Diggs / Douglas / Boutte / Williams / Polk / Baker. Hollins starts on PUP. Chism goes to PS but gets a couple game day elevations as primarily as a special teamer, eventually gets called up to full 53. Bourne gets traded.

No ****ing way I'm keeping BOTH sloPolk AND halfBaked ahead of Chism. Hell until they show me otherwise when it Really counts, i.e. against dudes other than future teammates, I'm keeping Neither of them ahead of him, or ahead of Bourne either.

In a couple years Diggs will be gone and the WR corps could be Williams / Pop / Boutte / Polk, with Williams being the 1. And it might be a solid young group!

Surely you can't be serious.

He'll get a job within a day if he's 100% healthy.
You can book less than 2 days.
Strange is bashed HERE, But he's a decent player IMO.

I know people like the idea of finding the next slot gem for Josh's offense and I know some nice things were said about him in OTAs but there has been absolutely nothing to indicate from the first 6 TC practices that Chism is ahead of Polk or Baker. Both have gotten more reps with the ones and twos (and Polk has only been at 2 practices).

Sounds like he’s facing the best effort from our best pass rushers every play. Getting pushed hard. And holding his own.
Facing our DL is one of the best things that could happen to Campbell.
Iron sharpens iron
Exactly what I was thinking.

I’ve been wondering if the coaches have been stacking the deck against him. It seems every day he’s working against the same three rushers: White, Barmore, Chaisson. Somebody asked where Landry has been, and it made me wonder if he’s been working against the twos so Campbell can get a steady diet of the same opponents. I’ll be interested to see if they start changing it up anytime in the rest of camp. Meanwhile he’s certainly getting an accelerated course in playing in the NFL trenches.

Chism elevated as a WR?

How many of your 7 WR's do you expect to be active? And Chism is #8.
It's only 6 as he has Hollins starting on PUP..
It's clear he's figuring that we'd lose one of them to injury in the first few weeks.

He's constantly going against White from what I read.
White is a monster, I think Vrabes is putting him under maximum pressure on purpose.
We'll see.

Gruger-Hill was a draft pick on a super bowl contender with a stacked roster who flashed in pre-season.

Let's see if Chism flashes against ones more than once.

Then you can begin your argument.

No one knew if that team was going to be a SB contender hat year at the time of Training Camp. Fans were hopeful, but we've seen all too well how injuries can dash that.

The Special Teams Kick and Punt Return Units from 2015 weren't all that.. In fact, the Kick Return unit stuck at just 18.8 YPR. The Punt return was mediocre at 10.1 YPR. Ryan Allen's NET Punting wasn't all that either at 39.6 YPK..

So, you'll forgive everyone for not buying this idea that the team was stacked on STs when those units were issues the year before.

Any Practice Today??

They were a super bowl contender for about 20 years in a row.

During that specific time period, they were in the middle of 4 times in 5 years reaching the super bowl.

That team was stacked. They also lost two young CB's who had NFL careers in those cuts.

I remember Cre'von (sp?) LeBlanc. Who else?

Diggs looking solid.

Bradbury injury is menial.

Daryl Roberts.

Both were starters multiple times, and had somewhat productive NFL careers.

Grugier-Hill was the toughest loss, but I remember clearly that there was no one to cut.

Not even close a comparison to today's situation.

Oh yes. He went to the J-E-T-E, but I suppose we can't blame him, can we?

Pape is already on it…

day 7... post away...

Lets hope we get some clarity on some of yesterday's injuries ... Morgan Moses & Garrett Bradbury in particular... there is a thread for that, so if we do get an update, please re-post the info there as well...
