BTW, there was a recent Boston Globe article about how the new Josh playbook is the old Josh playbook - same terminology and lots of Brady film to show players how its done.

Which makes it surprising for me that they don't have a dedicated fullback.

It was part of the Belichick-Judge-Patricia fiasco that they thought they didn't need a fullback and shipped Jak Johnson out to Vegas. But Josh loves to run out of the I.

Gotta let the TC roll, but IF our "for now" starter CBs can't handle the pressure of being NFL ready players, it might be trouble

Corners are one of those position that you can't really make up for lost personnel.

oh did I

quote me once writing anyone off
Post above seemed to be giving up on them befor practice even started.

Maybe you just meant to shine a spotlight on that position battle, but I’m so used to seeing negativity from you I’ve come to expect it.

A good offensive coordinator does that.
I’ve seen a lot of credit and puff pieces already to raise McDaniels stock. I hope Kraft has a checkbook ready and a fancy new title to make him satisfied,

I think the head coaching bug will bite him again.
That is not going to happen. Remember his wife is from here. His kids grew up here and established roots. NEITHER HCing job was pleasant for his family. He's back, well paid and appreciated. He's not going anywhere, at least with THIS wife.

I don't know why McDaniel failed so miserably TWO times. My guess is it's all about the personality of leadership. At both stops he couldn't get his players to follow his lead for one reason or the other.

No, his NFL coaching career is going to end here. That's good news for us in the long run.

U must have me confused

I very rarely say player X suck, player Y is trash. And if I do, ALWAYS giving reason. Ask around

I am, with good reason, less of a homer than most here. I won't apologize

and you, for now, won't have to tremble over someone who has killed posters willingness to come here for meaningless discussion for less.

Watch yourself. You understand negativity when i aim at you, bucko

I think it's unlikely he gets much consideration but he's young enough that I think one of 2 things could open the door again. If Drake were to either get an MVP or at least a SB appearance then I could see him getting interest again.

Honestly though, the way the reports are sounding about Wilson, if Bradbury doesn’t get better soon he might never be out there with the 1s again.
I think Wilson is just as likely to be the starting LG. The flexibility with him is really helpful.

If we make the playoffs he will get traction.

I disagree the articles paint it as Josh took a deep look at himself reached out to other coaches, cataloged what wasn’t working what was visited other coaches. He will get a second chance if we are a top 10 offense book that.
It would be his 3rd chance, Isn't happening.

lol. I’m trembling in my boots.

I’m pretty sure I haven’t confused you. I know that I don’t look at who posted them before reading posts, and often know who posted just by what they said and how they said it. I’ve come to expect you as author of negative posts, and don’t remember seeing anything positive that you’ve posted. By now I’m sure I’d remember because it would stand out. So, maybe you don’t think you’re negative, but that’s what I’ve been seeing. Nothing personal just honest feedback.

He won't. For McDaniels to get another opportunity, it would take several years, if not longer, and that's why the Patriots went this way.

I don't see this being a timeframe of less than 3-5 years. And even then ... he was out so fast in each opportunity (with plenty of stories behind the scenes) that this is absolutely a long game now for him, if it even ever happens again. And that would certainly be good for the team and Drake Maye in this situation, if it works out like we all hope it will.

Third possibility could be if he is Vrabel’s successor here. They’re about the same age so it’s unlikely but not impossible. There are circumstances where I could see the Krafts choosing that to ensure an orderly succession.

Sure

I'll remember you assumed who I am. Since "you don't remember" anything

Your ass is probably bigger than mine, between u and me

I thought that too, but they're about the same age. So that sort of complicates that possibility. Unless somehow things went south between him and ownership, but that would be pretty surprising.
