Ditto with Murphy Bunting Jamal Dean. Both looked promising for them last year but they’ll need to take a big leap.

Absolutely. Defensively, they should be strong in the front 7, barring injury. That defensive backfield is the big question mark.

A lot of young players. Feels like they’ve spent 20 2nd/3rd round round picks on their secondary over the last couple years.

We do have the cap space to make this work if we wanted, though I doubt Bill would ever do it.

Who are the top candidates here? Atlanta? Philly? Seattle would’ve been one of the teams but they just gave up a ton of resources for Adams.

My first thought was Seattle, but Adams changes that.

Buffalo wouldn't shock me.

Raiders?

Vikings?

You need to think about cap space. Ngakoue's cap number is almost $18m. Falcons only have $8.4m in cap space. Philly is in cap hell next year and can't afford him on a long term deal.

The Browns seem to be his most likely destination.

Browns likely inquired about trading for Yannick Ngakoue, could still target Jaguars pass rusher, per report

I heard Jets. Doesn’t sound like Bill but I never say never.

Regarding Ngakoue, I’d say CLE, TEN, IND (unless JAX won’t deal in division, NYJ, BUF, OAK or NYG.

Raiders came to my head too.

Vikings I doubt. They already have Hunter on one end, and Odenigbo is a secret breakout candidate.

I don't think that was ever in doubt.

RG is the question spot.

Cappa has been the weakest link in that group minus Wirfs but he's inconsistent, not bad. More in pass pro imo. Tough and hard working though. He's had some pretty decent years and is loved by everyone on that team. Played through a broken arm last year and called it a bruise.

I think its fair to say you've been all over the place when it comes to TB OL though with respect.

Last week you said they have major issues along the OL. The other day you said it (OL) was a top 3 area of concern for you?

That entire group is more than solid going into the year. And the change at QB can't be understated considering the effect it has.

Plus you can mask IOL a lot easier than T which again looks pretty good.

Like I said months ago when Brady went there. It's all about the secondary for that team. Everywhere else barring injury they're good-good enough or in great shape.

No, I haven't been. There are issues across the line. Rookie at RT, underperformer who may not be quite the tiger he should be at LT, particularly given his position on playing during the coronavirus (mod note: don't use that term again, please), open question at RG, backup OT opting out, etc...

It's not just the secondary.

DBs
OL
RB
Front 7 depth

All of that.

Broncos rec corp (wr/te) could be filthy. Big play - deep threat - 50/50 in Sutton. Elusive route runner in Jeudy who can move around. Speed, weapon - gadget in Hamler.
Red zone threat in AO. Fant down the seam. Hopefully Butt can stay healthy.

I could see them challenging Denver in a year or two *if* Lock works out. No shortage of arm talent & confidence there.

Nice play by Arnette but dammm is that ball under thrown. Raiders have some talent at the WR/TE spot but Carr needs to step it up. Just doesn't seem like he has the confidence anymore. Ruggs is almost walking by the end. MM looks like so it's Carr unless injury hits.

Tough bc of slowmo but Wirfs looks good here. He's so big. I can't imagine being that huge and having tiny people yell at me all day to bend more would be frustrating haha. I'd like to see him with just a lil more bend here but good set. Stays patient. I'd like to see a quicker strike but again slowmo, who knows. Works & stays 1/2 man - good position for inside counter. Pushes Shaq up the field. Wirfs has had a good but tough camp. He's going against a monster human in JPP & a very slick rusher in Shaq. He's going to struggle & coaches have thrown him in the fire. They wouldn't do that if he wasn't ready. They did that with Ali Marpet. For those that don't know Marpet is a beast. Great guard. Awesome watch. Top 10-15 G the last 4 year's. Nasty dude in the run game but made real strides in pass pro the last 2 year's.

Miller has been working on his releases all off-season. I think he's a real player this year.

Most definitely. DEN has the “prototypical” offense, at least on paper.
-Solid/young/perfectionist QB (hopefully he’ll take the Year-2 leap)
-Complete RB tandem (Gordon/Lindsay)
-WR/TE talent (Sutton #1, Jeudy- perfect RR, Hamler- Slot) (Fant- Reminds me of Sharpe/Gates, Albert O- speed/catch radius/lots of potential)
-Solid OL
ALL via the draft too! (besides Gordon)

Really like what they’ve done so far. We’ll see how it plays out.

IF he keeps his head on straight...STEAL

IF he keeps his head on straight...STEAL

So, when you said "IF he keeps his head on straight...STEAL" it took about 10 seconds for twitter to load. During that time about 10 names came to mind

He still looks small (for him), both in interviews and in camp highlights. Here he is with the rookie, doing blocking.

And his face still looks slimmer to me, too.
