Could this lead to the Broncos making a minor QB deal? Probably not, but I'll put it here, just in case.

Broncos’ QB Joe Flacco has a herniated disk in his neck, per @Jeff_Legwold. Flacco is out this week vs. Cleveland and then he will he re-evaluated after the bye. At that time, IR would be a possibility if he hasn’t recovered.

I wonder which team, if either (hell, could be both) would balk at the following:

Bucs get

Patriots 1st round pick
Patriots 3rd round pick
Patriots 6th round pick

Patriots get

Howard
Bucs 2nd round pick
I’d give up a first and conditional 3rd next season.

Your Awesome is many moons ago Pats have been Meh with First Rounders lately. Is the 31st or 32nd pick in 2020 Draft better than O.J. Howard?? That what it will come down to.
Exactly my point.

Is 1.5 years of Howard worth basically a high 2nd rounder?

It would be interesting to know what grade the NEP had for him in that draft.

Thats really the question.

Howard DO IT!
We've urinated away pick #32 Easley and pick #33 Ras-I Dowling on complete wastes. Not to repeat mistakes but getting a position that improves a contending team with a weakness RIGHT NOW for 2 seasons makes sense. That's what #1s are for. Immediate contribution.

And Sony over Chubb who made that evaluation and lost almost a complete Draft a few years back. Patriots Drafting overrated. Patriots Finding UDFA Very Good.

Well we are lose Caserio and gaining maybe Pioli?

Redskins make Trent Williams available

Since the Patriots are now done with Cleveland, I'm all for the Browns overpaying to get Mr. Williams.

Also Rookie TE Irv Smith jr. from Bama is having a decent Rookie year with the Vikings.

I just want to end the day with Howard or Engram and maybe a receiver and O line.
Eifert would be a consolation prize but he better be no more than a 4th

This might have been a reason for NE to re-sign Kessler today. Denver may have called up his agent and forced the issue.

Getting Hooper or Howard and maybe even another OG would go a long way to me committing towards thinking about that unthinkable dream....

This news from Washington is just SOOOOOO sad. Talk about diminishing your own assets. They should write the book on buying high and selling low.

They’ll get four or five players before tomorrow

Screw the TE's what's Trent Williams cap hit like?? I don't trust Wynn at all.

Inaccurate.

Those picks were defecated away.

Seriously. Don’t bother cashing in a month ago when you had more leverage. Now up against the deadline teams know he won’t play for the Skins.

Report: Washington now open to trading Trent Williams
Washington repeatedly has said it’s not trading Trent Williams despite repeated calls from the Browns about the possibility of trading for the left tackle.

After weeks of saying now, Washington now is saying maybe.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL reports that Washington is “open” to trading Williams. The team’s front office is looking at potential suitors, with the Browns on the list.

It is unclear what the team’s asking price is, but Washington at least is willing to listen.

We'll see. I think they are still being very engaged in discussions and willing to make a deal but it just might be cost-prohibitive.

For example, if TB still demanding a 1 for Howard and the NEP have offered a 2020 3 and a 2021 2 then maybe it can work.
I would love to get Howard but no way BB trades next year 1st. We would then not have a pick in the first two rounds. BB does not operate like that.

Supposedly Washington and Tampa have both changed their tunes regarding Trent Williams and OJ Howard.
