Trading Bell... yeah a bit, but not nearly as much. It'd be more about getting a huge haul back in return for a signing Gase wasn't thrilled with.
Edit: like @Deus Irae just said.
There’s a huge market for a running back averaging 3.2 yards per carry and making $13M per year. What a draft haul they’re going to get!

Love Bell... but I'd imagine we'd get a 1st rounder in return.
That'd be 2 1st rounders, an early 2nd rounder, and 2 early 3rd rounders (cause of Leonard Williams trade).
Easily turned into 3 1st round picks.
Can build a strong offensive line like that.
No clue if 2020 is a good draft for oline though.
Any NCAA followers know?
1)Don't draft RBs early.
2)Don't pay them big money. It almost never works out.
Let’s think this one through....
There was no market this offseason for Bell, other than the one and only New York Jets, who badly outbid themselves.
Bell has been a bust in every conceivable way. Not just 3.2, but also below 5 yards per target as a receiver.
So now a team will throw a first rounder at them for the privilege of taking on that ridiculous contract?
They’d probably need to exchange bad contracts with a team to trade him.

Who would make that trade?
I can't think of any team
Chiefs, Texans, "Hold my beer!"
Your "team" needs a franchise quarterback. But no way in hell they'd get a first-round pick for Levon Belch.Love Bell... but I'd imagine we'd get a 1st rounder in return.

Houston would be a monster with Bell.
