Have to throw in a link to my favorite NFL Primetime music - "Power Surge". For some reason they used it all the time with Bills highlights, like this clip:

BTW, you get to see some good Flutie action in that one.

Thanks for posting that. I had to look it up, but that was from 10/11/98. I knew Antowain Smith was on the Bills before coming to NE, but I forgot that Ted Washington spent time with them also. Kind of funny that, within 5 years of that game, both of them would be helping the Patriots win a Super Bowl (2 for Smith.) Also, seeing Flutie play against a Polian-led team made me wonder if Polian was screaming "Break his leg!" while Flutie was beating the Colts.

I loved NFL Primetime when it was the highlights and the music. It made foot all, football. Also, because I played ESPN NFL 2K5 (still my favorite sports game ever) they always had those songs as menu music. This was my favorite. Ignore the crappy helmets.

A basic NFL Primetime segment.

BERMAN: And that's how I fixed the ceiling. That cool with you, TJ?
JACKSON: Oh, yessum, Boomer. You got it, Boomer.
BERMAN: Coming up, another one of our 18 segments on Brett Favre. How about that, TJ?
JACKSON: Oh, man. Can't wait for that, Boomer. Absolutely agree.

I actually just got done dusting it off and playing it for a couple hours. (Hey it's my day off. )

It has a great charm to it, and there's things about that game that Madden has failed to top to this very day. It also reminds me of a time when ESPN was actually good. And not a politically biased, TMZ type channel that has less credibility than the National enquirer.
