your problem is, not only are you sane and intelligent, what you ,I or any other NFL fan thinks is irrelevant. Whatever the NFL's strategic planning division thinks will maximize viewers going forward, that plan will incorporate whatever they decide on. If Generation Pansy demands all contact be eliminated, the NFL will go with flags to soothe their fragile sensibilties...as long as the BILLIONS keep coming. Period.

We laugh at this but there are so many haters like Timmy who have made their entire life about ripping/hating Brady for every loss, every bad play, every misstep publicly. For him to retire at the top of his game is the ultimate kick in the sack as they had file cabinets of stuff saved for when he declined even a hair.

Now all they can do is listen to everyone say he was the Goat that never declined even at age 44. Talk about an emotional meltdown.

And what is worse is as time goes by Brady will be mythologized like Jordan where only his accomplishments are highlighted and not his losses. He will basically become King Kong and little Timmy will be in a corner somewhere screaming “but, but remember his 3 interception game vs Miami?!!”

I would put Ted Washington over Suh. Suh the last two year was not the same guy who was a perennial All Pro. Still a very good player, but lost a step. Washington was a dominant force in 2003.
