Tom Brady removed the nfl* decal from his helmet (update: Brady says he was unaware of it)

If Mr Green Jeans was a Jets fan I will be devastated.

Dunno about Mr Green Jeans, but you could never trust Mr Moose and Bunny Rabbit...

It is actually an equipment violation! PFT ran an article yesterday about Kaepernick and the American flag on his helmet and how the NFL don't permit players to remove the stickers because they want them to be the same or some nonsense.

But good on Brady for doing it and if it's done to challenge them to issue the fine then it's borderline genius.
OK, personal experience time.

Growing up, I really would burn up over being punished for something I didn't do.

Not that it's right or mature, but my attitude was: if I'm being forced to do the time, hell, I'll go ahead and do the crime, or at least something to warrant it.

I might have been a little ill-tempered growing up; I wasn't born with the "be cheerfully oblivious to incompetence and injustice" gene.

In my defense, I may have been in a bit of a hostile environment.

Tom Brady is the polar opposite of that, that thing.

While I hated his ass in SB XX, I respect McM for his toughness and how hard the team played for him.

Well this is interesting. Don't remember seeing this anywhere else but it looks like Brady's helmet had no NFL sticker back in May-June at OTA's. Brissett is carrying it and you see there's no logo there.

While we're looking at our helmets, may I point out that our logo appears to have been replaced; and they're the color of the Cowboys, Raiders, Lions, and Panthers?!

...and the robot, too

Nope. Not buying. I respected Payton, and young Perry didn't ask for all the attention.

But the Bears were not the good guys...showed their true colors when Flutie showed up and was ostracized.

They took away on opportunity for him to win a title.

It kills me to say this but Flutie was overrated as a QB in CHI. He was below average.

You're referring to people/media in CHI who thought he was the second coming...

He stepped into a new team and system late in the year, he wasn't at least average?

Anyway, as you know, he was outstanding for us two years later, and led us to the brink of the playoffs before being sadly and ill-advisedly benched.

Apparently Brady has done this in camp as well...started before the preseason games.

Its kinda like in Shawshank Redemption when Andy Dufrene walked back to his cell with the Warden Norton's shoes on and no one noticed.

Only he knew and that was good enough for him.
