Watson starting, what does he bring to the team that he couldnt bring last week? I know in the NFL a coach doesn't have the time to sit on his mistakes to save face about a bad decision but from christs sake Bill O'Brian cannot pick the right QB to start the season to save his life.

I've got to think that BOB is looking at his OL and thinking that Watson might survive where a less mobile quarterback would be killed. That's the only thing that really makes any sense.

I think changing starters had more to do with Savage emphatically losing the job than Watson winning. Watson's almost certainly not ready to be starting this game, but even a not-ready Watson gives you a better chance to win than however you could characterize Savage's performance against the Jaguars.

The betting line was up to as high as Bengals favored by 6½ yesterday, before settling in at Cincy -5½. Seems to be a bit of an overreaction to the Houston injuries and the Cushing suspension. Did nobody notice Dalton's four-pick, 28.4 passer rating crapfest last week?

The Bengals' line hasn't been good, but it hasn't been as aggressively bad as it was last week. I guess that's progress. They're actually getting a bit of push on running plays.

People complain about seeing the Patriots year in and year out...but watching these offenses and their first drives....the Pats will be there for years to come. These offenses are offensive.

I mean...1st and 5 at the 50......and you don't do anything???? Wow.

Zach Cunningham (#41) probably worth keeping an eye on, how good he is will probably dictate where the Texans' defense ends up now that Cushing is suspended.
