People complain about seeing the Patriots year in and year out...but watching these offenses and their first drives....the Pats will be there for years to come. These offenses are offensive.

I mean...1st and 5 at the 50......and you don't do anything???? Wow.

Been saying the same for years. How people can "hate" New England so much is beyond me.

We're innovative, consistent, fundamentally sound, mentally tough and take pride in all 3 phases of the game. If you had to name the top ten Superbowls of all time all 7 of this era would probably make the list.

By my count what we have thus far, near the end of the first quarter after settling for a red zone field goal (and botching 1st & goal at the 6):

- a combined 0-6 on third down
- a combined total of two (2) first downs
- a combined net of four (4) yards passing
- a combined 8 drives, totaling three points
- a combined 110 total yards of offense - which should really be a net 61 yards after factoring in the 49 yard return on the turnover

I have a bet on Dalton over 237 passing yards, I figured Houston offense would be a 3 and out **** fest and he would have the ball in his hands a lot, I was about to give up after this mediocre first quarter but this bomb put me on the game again. Not confident though, if the Bengals get ahead on the score for 2 possessions they will just run the ball and burn clock.
