It's weird, as a fan of basically every sport, football fans far and away seem to be the ones that feel the need to put down every other sport. We can enjoy football without having to insist that everything else sucks.

You have not been told for years growing up that baseball is an intellectual game and not being deeply engrossed by it means you don't understand it.

Then when the George Will - type pseudo-intellectuals gave up, the "soccer is a more beautiful game" started.

Oh, I forgot I'm just insecure and reacting to nothing.
