It's weird, as a fan of basically every sport, football fans far and away seem to be the ones that feel the need to put down every other sport. We can enjoy football without having to insist that everything else sucks.

In a few years, football will be illegal, baseball fields will be covered in nets and bubble wrap, and we will all be safe and bored watching 0-0 soccer games while reading about the Kardashians on our cell phones. Awesome!

Apparently you have never spent time oversoverseas and fielded the "derrrr .... why do you Yanks call that game football when you play it with your hands?" type questions.
