No, we are contending this year. We are one of the top 3 teams in the AFC.

Yes, I thought that the Bills were the better team last time out, as did the vast majority of the analysts and fans outside of Boston.

The bettors think the teams even this time. I agree. Since the team has clearly gotten much better, are you predicting a big win for us?

"negative nancy" is simply hilarious. I have worn rose-colored glasses at least since the day Kraft bought the team.
I think the team has gotten better, so I predict a solid win. How much better I cannot say, so how big a win I will not predict. I would prefer to see continued substantial incremental improvement rather than unsustainable dramatically inconsistent results.

I told everyone here back in July after the draft and free agency if Vrabel and company were good at developing young talent this team was a contender.

I told you two months ago that if the Patriots played mistake free they were a better team than Buffalo.

They got “much better” in the offseason, had they not started the first three weeks of this season fumbling the ball they could be undefeated right now. They beat themselves.

Stay healthy, keep refining the weaknesses… this is one of the best teams in the league.

We're going to WIN this game, Buffalo is a decent team with a Great QB.
PAT'S are better overall.

It’s gone… it used to be there but it’s gone now. This is true in my IPhone and laptop…. odd.

*Nevermind, it just reappeared after I made this comment. This site is acting wonky. Is there a time limit on edits, I still can’t fix my spelling error a few posts up because the edit button ( “…”) doesn’t appear on the old post?

As long as a thread is open, I see the ... next to "Report" on my posts. I still see it on my original "Drake Maye has arrived" post, for example, and that was >2 months ago.

Steve Palazollo describes the WR corp like a Basketball team. Together they can bring a range of skill sets.

Hollins - tall, physical, blocker
Diggs - experienced in finding the opennings in the defense, athletic
Boutte- good route runner, gets open deep, good hands
Pop - jitterbug man beater with verticle speed threat
Williams - explosive play speedster

And he's right. It's not #1, #2....., it's different receivers filling different roles.

No. Draft capitol is needed elsewhere. Let's develop more from the inside. If there is one thing the NFL develops in abundance, it is WR's And they develop all kinds. From the standard burners and 3 cone stars in the slot, to the 6'4 big targets like London and the elite route runners like JNS and Jefferson.

I'd rather find a guy like Javon Baker who is STILL only 23 and is 6'4 who runs a 4.5. He's spent this season on the Eagles PS I'd rather take a run at him than use a day 2 pick on a WR. He wasn't too far off making the roster this year. He'd be a lot closer to contributing to the team than anyone we would draft. And we could use another 6'4 WR. Once we get past Hollins our WR group gets small real fast. And if not Baker than some guy like Baker.

BTW I read a really interesting blub on a new WR development - The slowish 4.6 guy with some size and can separate for some reason. Guys like Puka, JSN, London, Kupp, etc We are hoping Chism might be one down the road.

Ken, Baker is 6'1 200 lbs.
