One big difference is that we beat about 7 teams who had 1o or more wins that year.
or 10 teams with 10 or more wins to win the superbowl. That was a great year in the NFL.
Compared to this season, we have beaten 3 (Miami twice) and Steelers in the regular season.
I am only using end of regular season record.

One big difference between this year and 03.... the 03 team had literally, no offense.

They finished 12th in the league in points scored in 2003. I know we have high expectations around here, but "literally no offense"? We've been pretty spoiled here. The offense's biggest problem was a poor running game that year.

Good analogy. There's a real possibility that the Patriots could have two dynasty's bookending the careers of Belichick and Brady. I'm not suggesting either are done but if they win against Atlanta one more win in the next couple of seasons would create that scenario.
