All this talk about how injured his leg is may be hogwash.....if he is so injured,I doubt he makes trips all over the states to find a suitor if he is weeks off of playing.

According to Gaffney's camp last week, he was one to two weeks from healing. He might be close enough to come in for a workout. He did leave Miami without a contract so maybe he is healthy enough to workout for teams but not healthy enough for a team to sign him.

I thought he would be back next week, but I am starting to doubt it a bit. I expected the roster spot opened up by Vishancoe going to IR to go to Branch. I expect them to bring back Branch next week and I don't know if they will cut two players for both Branch and Gaffney. But they might.
