It would have no difference--very clearly. If he had gone out at 4 seconds, they wd have been way out of field goal range--with no time outs. One more play wd have had to have been a Hail Mary. Fat chance.

Actually the play before forced them to burn a time out. With one TO left, you can utilize the middle of the field. With none, you can't...
