This is a curious pick. They've recently drafted Coples, Wilkerson and Ellis all fairly high...

Well, they have no safties or LBs. They are going to field eight d-linemen and three CBs as their starting defense this season.

Jets fans will be understandably livid that more wasn't done about the offense.

Crumbling, aging OL.
Terrible QB (not much to be done about that in this draft)
Only one worthwhile receiving options
No running back


I get they have holes everywhere, but the defense was still not that bad last year. The one thing they didn't need was a corner. One of the other things is probably DL because the way their scheme works, the DL just have to be fat and stop the run while the back 7 blitzes.

Jets being Jets. They could have the worst offense of all time this season.

Hayden has great hands. Have been impressed with his tape.

My thoughts exactly. He has vastly superior ball skills and takeaway ability to Dee Milliner. Based on tape study he's the closest thing to a 'shutdown corner' that I've seen in this draft.

It looks like the Jets drafted the wrong CB. Luckily for us Patriots fans, that's a good thing.

Maybe the Jets are moving to a 4-3. That's the only way they could keep Coples, Richardson, and Wilkerson on the field at the same time, unless they feel like nose tackles are a thing of the past.

the stupid azzed Rats coulda swapped out just ONE of their first round picks for a lower slot and nabbed either one of these picks they took...they could have packaged both and moved up to insure Austin...they just sat there and looked stupid..and then made two of the dullest picks of this draft....this draft is already a success for the Pats
