Offense looks good.
Defense doesn't.

Butler at least looks competitive.

On to the second half...

Collinsworthless you going to man up and tell the whole story? Of course not

Anyone know if Easley is back?

@PFF_NateJahnke: NE DT snap count: Malcolm Brown 17, Geneo Grissom 13, Dominique Easley 8, Alan Branch 5, Sealver Siliga 4

Wow Grissom

Well Grissom is our best pass rusher from DT besides Easley.

Passing game looks ok, the O line test will be next week. Not thrilled with run defense or lack of pass rush against a suspect O line. But they are winning and that's good. I think butler has done pretty good.

I think this first game of the year is a tough one, almost an extension of the preseason and I think it shows for both teams, it will get better.

Great first half:

  1. Brady perfect aside from one throw
  2. Receivers doing a great job getting open repeatedly
  3. The IOL has been terrific. 2 above and Brady's release helps take the pressure off
  4. C'mon Nate! You can do better
  5. Malcolm Butler looks like a genuine #1. Antonio Brown will give anyone problems.
  6. Hightower! Superb.
  7. Sheard and Nink need to do better setting the edge and getting pressure.
As good as I could have hoped for.

#50 went right at Edelman's knee there.

Finally, some proper halftime entertainment: a Jimi Hendrix concert video on Showtime.

I don't understand how edelman gets the yards he does sometimes

Of course they didn't correct the headset information! Sickening! You know you would think they would know how that would be looked at considering everything going on, so you would think they would correct it!!! Their not ESPN, so i guess i got my hopes up that they would.

Chandler and Gronk in on this drive.

Lewis is so small he legit disappears in the pile

I've said all along that Edelman is a poor man's Antonio Brown. That comparison has always struck me as more apt than Wes Welker. Tonight he's seemingly showing that he's a lower-middle-class man's Antonio Brown.

Brown's clearly better, don't get me wrong. He might be the best WR in the league. But Edelman's probably 85% of the player he is.

Anyone know if Easley is back?

Would people stop asking that. He is listed as questionable, which in Patriots world, means he is not coming back tonight.

Be nice to have Blount back next week to pair with Lewis.

I hate bolden running the ball

Shazier is fast.

Jules is abusing them
