Rookie WRs having better seasons than Dobson's rookie year:
Watkins
Evans
Beckham Jr
Cooks
Benjamin
Robinson
Matthews
Brown
Landry
Hurns
Dobson's rookie year was really nothing special for a rookie. The best rookie WR in BB era isn't saying much, considering we usually start veterans at the WR spots and KT had the 2nd best rookie WR season ever and he's on Oakland now.
Watching NFL network pregame as the hosts shake their heads sadly about how Peyton has been stinking it up is amusing the heck out of me. Because they seemed giddy when Brady was faltering at the seasons beginning.
Are you sure? I assumed his role would be the 3rd outside CB when Browner is playing cover LB on a TE. Basically the role Ryan/Butler had been playing.
Why take Arrington out of the slot when he's been great there this year?

Yes...Bedard said the exact same thing...i wrote it in another thread..too long to rewrite. Revis and Browner are our outside guys. Arrington slot and Dennard will be worked into a more of a slot role

Now show the list of really good receivers whom Dobson had a better rookie year than. Because there's a bunch.
I will never understand people who just want a player on their own team to fail in their second year, especially when they showed a lot of promise in their first year.

I dont think there is a single person here saying they want Dobson to fail. They are just pointing out he's been a second year disappointment. Whether it is the fact that he's injured or its a production issue and he's just not able to get into the gameday lineup.

I don't care if I'm right or wrong, just pointing out his rookie season has been overrated. I thought Hightower was mediocre his rookie year and look at him now, he's a beast.
I want every patriots player to be a stud. I've been wrong 1000 times over on this board. You think I care about being right or wrong on an internet forum?
