I have never seen a team take a knee (to "center the ball") with EIGHT SECONDS LEFT AND A TIMEOUT to finish the 1st half. That is plenty of time to take one more shot downfield, if not in the end zone but at least to gain 10 yards.
He did the exact same thing last year in the Arizona game, although that was at the end of the game and it cost the Patriots a win. Gostkowski missed that kick and he missed this one.
The league is full of competent vet receivers. How can we not have one? How can the team be in position where a knock on a guy who has only played twelve of thirty games in the last two years leaves them with nothing but Julian Edelman and dregs for receivers? We don't need Larry Fitzgerald. We need a couple of guys who can catch four balls for 45 yards.
Why do the announcers say "we got a pretty good football game"? This is one of the worst games I've ever seen. Worst than when we lost to cleveland during Gronk's rookie year.
