I don't think Ballard is at risk of being cut.

I know...I get that distinct impression...but man, I've SEEN him up close at practice and he's a cripple...there's no other way to describe it...that leg looks like he's dragging it around

This thread was great. The comedic work of those bashing Tebow and blaming him for things that weren't his fault made reading this almost as good as listening to the clowns on the broadcast who had to keep backtracking even as they tried to find another angle and bash him anew. Fauria and Chatham were particularly amusing that way. Tebow may get cut before he even gets home but, even if he is, the humor from tonight's game will mean his time in NE was not wasted.

There are others who are at risk at being cut, but they are kids who are hopeful, not veterans who are worried.

Tonight made me think both Bolden and Blount are on the roster due to the fact neither got a single snap. That would be a very odd thing to do unless you feel like they are both locks (That or BB has already made his choice between them).

Devlin is gone, Washington stays.

Cunningham & Francis gone. Benard and Bequette (mostly due to this game and the fact Cunningham & Francis have done nothing to prove otherwise) stay.

Everyone else you listed I have no clue.

I think Boyce will make some big plays to go along with some real bad plays this season, he doesn't appear to be a polished player, he reminds me of Randall Cobb as a rookie with GB.

Bizarre how different people's viewpoints can be. To me Boyce is easily the second most polished rookie at this point and if we didn't have Amendola and Edelman I think he'd be starting in the slot.

Ballard looks sick and flabby

Same with A. Wilson

Collins looks like he was a late round pick. I don't get the hype. Why did we use a second round pick for a LB who has looked like Gary Guyton out there?

Buchanan looks like a much better pick. Nice use of hands and leverage. Plus showed some quickness.

First glance based on preseason, Dobson will most likely be another second round WR bust. Doesn't look like he's competitive.

Thomkins on the other hand looks super competitive. Reminds me of David Givens -- not as physical, but more athletic and seems to have a higher upside.

Fletcher was great tonight.

I have to actually witness improvement before making a re-evaluation. The interior offensive line (McDonald, Kline, Stinkowitch) was terrible in pass protection for Tim Tebow.

The overall lack of quality depth on the New England Patriots roster this season is quite alarming:

Defensive End (Bequette raw, Buchanan raw, Cunningham MIA, Francis MIA)

Safety (Harmon raw, T. Wilson raw, Ebner MIA)
