What's everyone feeling about Adrian Wilson? Is he in trouble? Seems like we have a vet every season who's suppose to be a huge signing but ends up getting cut. Fernando Bryant being a great example.

I’m not sure I agree with that 100% a more experience wide receiver would of knocked that ball down, Dobson also took terrible position in my opinion, granted I do agree 100% that it was a poor pass but I wouldn’t expect Malletts strength to be a corner fade throw, he isn’t a great touch thrower, he tosses 150mph every play, he does need to correct that if he wants to be successful when/if he ever gets a chance to start someplace (else).

I don't agree with placing any of that would-be INT on Dobson's shoulders. The expectation on those fade routes is that the QB is throwing past you, erring on the side of overthrowing you. Dobson got behind Amukamura, which was his job - he can't be in front of and behind the guy at the same time. Plus, Prince is neither small nor unathletic - you can't expect Dobson to physically dominate him.

Went back and watched that in slow motion. Ball was behind, high, and very late and the db arrived early. That one is on mallett.

He came off as nonchalant to me from day one. I wasn't sure whether it was a good thing (ie. the game isn't too big for him) or a bad thing (he doesn't care).

Nice to meet someone who feels this way too. He got beat to a pulp there. In this day of concussion awareness I would be curious to see how he checked out back then...

He hasn't played a single down in anger yet. There's no reason to assume he's going to be Chad Jackson.

Give him time. He doesn't look ready to be a starting NFL receiver yet, but for rookie receivers that's more the rule than the exception. Thompkins is the oddball who looks highly polished, Boyce is more of a straight-line speed guy so he can contribute without as much seasoning. Dobson's going to take time.

I hear that. I'm kinda hoping this is the year the Rams O-Line comes together finally. I'm pretty all-in on three of their players (Daryl Richardson, Tavon Austin, Jared Cook) in a fantasy football league.

He's the rawest of the rookie WRs. Thompkins is spoiling the hell out of us with how polished he is - Dobson needs to be better at route-running and needs to be more consistent with his hands. He makes some sick catches, but if you bobble simple throws and lead to interceptions, then it doesn't really matter.

Basically, I've adjusted my expectations to the point that I'll now be pleasantly surprised if he catches more than 20-25 balls this season. Doesn't make him a bad player, just means he probably needs a year, which is usually the norm for rookie WRs.
