Mallet knows he is safe, probably next year too unless they sign a veteran. I can't see a rookie being the primary back-up

I think the world of Tim Tebow and I respect his character, but if he stays on the team that would a travesty while someone else who could potentially contribute would get cut just to save someone who pretends he's a QB.

Exactly, man if you could put this guys character and personality into someone like AHern's it would've been amazing.

Tebow might be the best off the field person in the history of the game not to be blessed with NFL level QB skills.

Fair point, but his awareness and ability to look off DB's is so bad he would've been average/awful even with great protection
