The D the patriots are playing is infuriating to watch as a fan, but it has a purpose. Protect against the big play. Give the O as many 5-9yrd plays..bleed the clock. CLassic bend but dont break.

Because apparently he isn't really hurt enough to come out. I understand being cautious but it was a one-score game against one of the better teams in the league. If it was a blowout I would bet Hoyer would be in later on, but you never know with Tom.

For those who aren't familiar. This is the Chargers go-to offense. They send their 90 foot receivers 20 yards down the field which leaves the RB open in the flat.
