I am still wondering whether much of the difference in toughness is that Brady doesn't hang his receiver out to dry like other QBs. You saw on one of those throws to Amendola that Brady puts the ball in the right spots.

Don't really agree there. Brady protects his receivers well but sometimes slot receivers are forced to take monster hits.

I think it's a combination. One thing that really struck me watching the Ravens last night was that Flacco was getting his receivers killed, hanging them out to dry all over the place. Then I remembered that I'm just used to Brady.
