I don't see Ayers as a good fit in the Patriots 3-4.

Rey Maualuga.
Michael Oher.
Vontae Davis.
Darius Butler.

Possibly a couple.
The Pats can move up for Brown or Maualuga, trading maybe only a third, or see who falls.
