Hmm. Been talks about Cowboys wanting Barron, will he fall to the pats now? Might be easier to trade up for him.

I'm guessing that he was actually picked at #7 right after you posted this, since your posting is at 8:42pm.

Interesting that Chandler Jones was a guy i mentioned not too long as a potential Pats pick during the Board Draft game..

BB clearly thinks that Jones can be the Elephant we haven't had since McGinest was let go..

The knee clearly passed muster as he only missed 5 games and took part in the Combine as well as his Pro-Day.

My guess is that it was a strained MCL.

Pats just traded up #31 and #126 for #25 and are going to take Dont'a Hightower..

All I can say is HOLY WOW..

But, that being said, what does it say about the defensive alignment.. I don't think Jones is big enough to play DE in the 3-4

I note with interest that #19 was a player the Pats have been linked to in mock drafts and so on, and #20 was a guy they did a late workout on.

I wonder whether the workout of Wright was in part a smokescreen for their interest in trading up for Jones.
