Mike Loyko said NFL teams were concerned about Dupree's ability to learn a system. If that's true there is no chance the Pats take him ,let alone trade up. We value intelligence on defence.

I don't see anything Collins does better than Pat Chung. I like the Sun Devil better if we go safety...which I hope we don't.

Outside of last year, when he wasn't really playing as a safety as much as a linebacker, and had Revis/McCourty to bail his ass out, Chung's been hot garbage.

Ugh. Dupree is a great fit for them.

This is admittedly based on a minimal amount of research, but not surprised Dupree is falling. Sounds like a great athlete but another one of those high-risk, high-reward pass rusher types that have no clear cut position or skill as a defender aside from being able to run around NCAA lineman. Sounds like a guy like Ricky Sapp from a few years ago. Good amount of hype that amounted to nada.

A local sports talk host made the very good point that teams that made 27 or more draft selections in the last three years had a 66.6% winning percentage while teams who made less than 26 picks over the last three years had about a 30% winning percentage.

Trading up is not normally a winning strategy.
