It was Brady and the subs. IMHO, Gibson looked very good. Harper did OK also. Andrews might beat out Kline. He certainly looks good enough for the Practice Squad.

I won't say anything about our quarterback play since that would violate Rule 43.

RULE 43

If Andrews can play some guard then I wouldn't mind keeping him over Kline.

Hard to even judge JG as a fan. He appeared to generally make the correct decision and deliver the ball on time and accurately, but he was playing behind a group of OL players who, for the most part, I hope never play a snap again for any team, because it would be borderline criminal and life endangerment.

Then again, I guess his decision making, and Tom's, could certainly come under scrutiny when you consider that 11 passes were attempted in the direction of Boyce.

I wonder if that was requested by the coaching staff in order to get that roster decision out of the way rather early. Give the kid a chance somewhere else because his place is not here.

JG badly under-threw Boyce twice, one for an INT and the other for an INC only because Boyce
had to become the DB. His other INT was thrown to Boyce's wrong shoulder, and Boyce made a
really feeble attempt to tackle the DB.
Even if all 3 passes were accurate, who knows if Boyce makes any of those catches anyway?

Brandon Gibson might've made the team based on last night's performance alone.

And the left side of the OL, including Ryan Groy - whose first snap saw him pushed all the way back
to the QB for a sack - is simply terrible.

I agree. Gibson looked good against the #1 defense. It was noted that he has had a good camp. I think he is the #4 at this point.

There is still room for more WR's if any of the rest show that they are worth a roster spot: Dobson, Tyms, Boyce, Harper, Krause. We could keep 0-2 of these players on the 53.
