Re: The new Pats. The KC Chiefs

Has anyone seen their schedule? They could seriously go 13-3.

I'll cheer for them so long as it's not against us

Re: The new Pats. The KC Chiefs

I don't understand why so many people get so defensive.

Simply giving credit to someone who seems to be turning an organization around.

Another interesting factoid is that 5 of the first 6 picks made by the chiefs this year were team captains in college.

I understand some of want to endlessly choke the patriot chicken, but you should learn to loosen up a bit
Firstly...the anaology is far far OFF...The Chiefs have won 3 games...NOTHING else..ZWhat is here is a bunch of front runners...who will run away when the next best thing MAY come along... ANd I say GO!!! Yes..it does seem like the Chiefs are on a good path...BUT..that is about it!! If these so called Patriot fans think they are the new Patriots...then let don't let teh door hit their behinds on the way out...GOOD RIDDANCE!!!

So one cannot be a Patriots fan and point out a legitimate criticism?

Re: The new Pats. The KC Chiefs

After starting out 3-0 against teams with a combined 1-8 record, the Kansas City Chiefs have officially become the new Patriots as what they've done in the first 3 weeks of this season is equally as impressive as the last decade of Patriots accomplishments.

Congratulations to the new Patriots!

Congratulations to the new Patriots!

Their more like the new Jets minus a pathetic coach and unlikable teammates.

Re: The new Pats. The KC Chiefs

Exactly........

I wonder if Belichick is ever critical of the team...I guess he must hate the team.

I wasn't criticizing. Just giving credit. I've always liked the chiefs more than any other team in that division....like their fans too

Re: The new Pats. The KC Chiefs

Really another one of these?

You'll get no flak from me, I really hope the Chiefs become a solid team.

And the only undefeated team in the NFL is...

Re: The new Pats. The KC Chiefs

I honestly thought it was just more alluding to how they're running things over there in Kaycee.

Not that by so saying there's anything wrong with the Patriots.

It's called being a fan of football rather than just being a fan of the patriots

i would love to see the chiefs go to 4-0, and also bring the colts to below .500 all in one week

Sounds great to me

When the draft class of a pathetic team produces many starters, that doesn't necessarily mean they had a better draft compared to a team of proven winners. For example, if we draft a QB who's not able to push Brady to the bench, that QB might actually be better than a QB who is starting for another team. The same applies to other positions and fans often forget that.

I'm glad for the Chiefs - and I think Pioli's done a better job with their drafts than he did in many of the Patriots draft classes - but it will take awhile longer before I consider them Super Bowl contenders, even if they finish with a better record than the Pats this year (and they may as they have a very easy schedule - as one would expect.)

Although I'm sure Weiss and Crennel still like Belichick, they've got little to prove or "accomplish" here - if they were here and did their jobs well Belichick gets all the credit. Do the job well in KC and they get a LOT more credit. They might not be launching their careers but everyone likes to make their mark and get credit.

can you actually call the pats a team of proven winners? who is left from the SB winning teams? Brady, Light, TBC, Koppen, Wilfork, Neal. Not one defensive starter remains (Wilfork started some games, but Traylor was the starter)

This thread disgusts me, this team isn't even making the playoffs this year and you're comparing them to one of the greatest dynasties of all time?
