Really curious - isn't there a gamethread on the Colt's board? Why do you prefer to be here rather than there???

I can't watch the game, but find it interesting to be following this game talk w/ Colt fans on board. Would be even more interesting if there were Jag fans, too. What's the big deal, the Colt fans are pretty much behaving? I'm sure some are here since we play em next week, but Ryan/Boomer and others have been respectful members for a while.

Eh...I'm quite aware of Ryan's presence on this board. It still doesn't explain why a Colt's fan would prefer to be on a gamethread on another team's board when there's a gamethread on his own team's board. I don't care one way or the other but I do find it to be quite weird.

I don't post very often on the Colts site I used to frequent. Got called Pats homer almost daily and it got old.

I prefer here where there can be balanced discussion.

I don't care, I simply find it weird. I guess you prefer discussing your team with fans from another team rather than with fellow fans. Doesn't say much about Colts fans I guess...

Dumb mistakes are the best way to get beat by Indy. If your team is half decent, you can compete with them if you don't do anything stupid. Unfortunately, Jax has already thrown a terrible INT (Sanders didn't even move, garbage throw) and a stupid personal foul away from the play.

When I saw how active Ryan was when the thread started I wondered why he was here and not on a Colts board, but it's not a big deal. To each his own.

And, for the most part, the only Pats-bashing going on in this thread has been by Pats fans, which is kind of ironic.

Again, I wish you guys would stop trying to underplay the Colts' accomplishments so far in this game. By this season standards, the Jags are one of the better teams. It's just that the top two are miles ahead of anyone else.

Colts will run all over us. our tackling is piss poor and our D will get gassed beacuse we cant stop run and we let up short passes easily .

Although exagerrated, not far from the truth.

The thing is, I remember not so far back, the Cincinnati game.....our tackling was tremendous.

Right now....there's a lack of focus. I'm not worried about the run as much as I am in stopping the short passing game.

That short slant, we can't stop it.

this colts offense is different. have to give credit. They run the ball more and are more patient. Will be much tougher for the pats than in the past.

This is the same offense they had in 2006 and for that matter what they morphed into the tail end of 2005 even with Edge. The lets try what BB does and take what defenses will give us offense that allows the rest of the team to believe they too matter and it's not just about treading water until Peyton gets it going.

In case you hadn't noticed the Pat's offense actually is light years different from anything the Colts have faced in the last 2 years. If it gets up on the Colts by anything approaching the 21 it put up in the first half of the AFCC, it won't conveniently sputter in the second half even if the defense fades. Too many weapons, and as Deion said last night the great WR like Randy love cover 2. What's he got on Sanders, about 8 inches? And the Colts corners are less elite than competent.

Moral victory for the JAGS. Peyton face....

Del Rio is a stupid man, that is part of this teams continuing problem. Cutting Byron was the smartest decision he ever made. But Garrard isn't the answer in part because Del Rio isn't a genius.

God, you're paranoid. I'm not underplaying the "Colts accomplishments so far in this game". They are playing a no offense, living off reputation defense, with a bad head coach team. Does this mean their offense isn't impressive? No, it simply means I'm not afraid of them. Just like I thought the Pats D was atrocious even though they "held" the Dolphins to 7 points in the first 3 qtrs. The facts are the facts and the Jags are a joke (although the best of the worse).

Uhh, my team (the Pats) isn't playing tonight, so yeah, it is kinda cool to have fans from the teams that are playing chime in.

Not really. This is the scenario the pats where in years past. No matter how good they play they never get respect. Im getting tired of the ball washing and im a pats fan. This is motivation for the colts.
