Complete idiocy...but what else should we expect from a little girl trapped in a boy's body, blindly waving his Revis pom poms.

Tell us exactly how this unbelievable "better than all the greats by a huge margin!!!~!~!!!!!!" little boy gaa gaa-istic piece of crap fits into what ACTUALLY happened against the Colts in the playoffs....Greene goes down, The Cheese melts like cheddar on a grill and Peyton passes at will all over your defense in the 2nd half...where's this "all world @!!!! super game changer!!! BETTER THAN ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY BY MILES!!!!" Revis during all this? The answer is, trudging off the field beaten like a little beeatch, like the rest of the green backer inners.

Here's a tip , moron...open your big mouth AFTER you win something...not before...think your green pinhead can handle THAT?

Wow. Little bit high strung aren't you.

I quoted the article so if your going to have an aneurysm over it why don't you email the writers instead of spewing all your hate on the messenger.

This is a purely hypothetical, and should not be taken seriously.

I mean, so their point is if Brees was a run back his average over the year would be 2,316 yards because thats how many yards he made in screen plays? Using production to relate to another position doesn't work . It really is a ridicules idea.

Greer almost equaled Reeves stats, so we should move him to WR?

I mean common

Im not saying this data is your fault, Im saying this is Disney data as Andy points out.

and putting people down by telling them they are not smart enough to read an article, does not really create a positive football discussion.

no disrespect intended just my view

Honestly its a long article. Even as a Jets fan its a bit much considering the average football piece is a few paragraphs at a time. I really do not expect fans of another team to sift through the whole piece.

ok point taken no offense, thanks for explaining that, nice of you

Not sure what you are trying to commnicate with that article.
I didnt say there arent good QBs who had bad first years, I am saying out of all the QBs that had bad first years, there are tons more who never became good Qbs that did become good QBs. I dont know how an article about the best 100 QBs ever would address that??????

As far as Vinatieri, you are kidding right?
He had one spectacular kick, and the rest were routine. You want to tell me that you are going to tear down Bradys success because a guy kicked a couple of FGs that have 90% conversion rates? Come on.
How about if you want to belittle a QBs success you look at OLineman, WRs or RBs that helped them by actually making football plays, not saying that you are lucy when your kicker makes the routine FG you put him in position to make.
Are you saying Brees doesn't deserve credit for winning last year because he doesnt if Peyton isnt a choker?

I dont know how an article about the best 100 QBs ever would address that??????
This points out almost all had bad or mediocre first years

No Im not kidding with the Vinatieri remark, he caped 7 games if I remember right in the 2001 season.

Not sure how im tearing down Bradys accomplishments with this remark.

The point was that the supporting cast sometimes makes the QB look good and if you dont have that, like Bradford with the RAMs, your never going anywhere.

Brees doesn't deserve credit for winning last year

Im absolutely saying this. Brees didn't win the Saints vs Vikings game, the defense and Hartley pulled it out. Same with the Miami and Redskins game. With out the team hes nothing.

and of course Brady deserves his accomplishments, your being to defensive, I'm not putting anyone down here.

Sanchez without a Vinatieri or other supporting players, will never make him look good, thats were we find out if Rex is worth his weight.

In 2008 Saints lost 5 games by 3 points, with a 8-8 record. Brees breaking all of those records that year looks way different if we had a kicker. Its a team sport. Without a good OL TE WR and solid RB's there is no Brees. Its just a really great QB who gets his arm ripped out because of a bad OL and never achieves anything.

This is were coaching and surrounding the great QB with a good OL and good WR,TE, kicker giving him the weapons,,, becomes important

I don't think any fans of a NFL team respects the Patriots, BB, or Bradys accomplishment more than the Saints or Brees does, so maybe you don't know us that well yet. There was no disrespect intended. If you read Paytons words we are modeled after your team.

Another addition to the Jets suckitude.
They are cheap.

While they can't raise money to pay for the stadium, they are going cheap on personell.

Example 1: Thomas Jones had his best season last year, was due to make close to 6mill, and wanted a raise. CUT. Replaced on the cheap by a guy who had by far his worst year as part of a steady decline. Company line: Thomas Jones is done. FACT: All evidence shows zero decline in Jones and nothing but decline in Tomlinson. RESULT: Team gets worse to save money

EXAMPLE 2: Alan Faneca is due a big salary and is cut. Company line 'he graded out low, and was a bad pass blocker' FACT: Analysis (posted here by a Jets fan from Football Outsiders) says that Faneca missed a total of SIX blocks all season and was the best run blocker on the team, being credited for all the success running right because he was constantly pulling and leading the play. Replaced by a weak competition LT drafted in the second round. REUSLT: Team gets worse to save money.

EXAMPLE 3: Jets woo over the hill Jason Taylor, and offer him a contract lower than he wants, having him pursue other offers and ultimately accepting the cheapie Jet offer. RESULT: Sign a name that is too old to help but only if its cheap.

EXAMPLE 4: Kerry Rhodes traded. Another cost cutting move. This one is disguised as he had a big mouth. Huh? That is the identity the Jets are building. Relaced by a lesser CHEAPER player.

EXAMPLE 5: Holmes and Cromartie. Rented players with tons of baggage brought in because the are in the low salary portion of thier rookie deals.

Overall the Jets have slashed payroll by millions, NOT made moves to upgrade their team. Of course the fan base is so desperate for any level of hope, they are buying the rationalizations, excuses and lies.

Priceless.

Stop being the voice of reason, the thread is THE JETS SUCK:singing:

With most teams I wouldn't care about the unrealistic overoptimism and blind homerism, but we've been hearing the same song and dance from the Jets fans for 15 years. Every off-season they are 'set at every position' every off-season their fans come here with the arrogan attitude that they have surpassed the Patriots and every fall and winter they fail, go away and come back with the same story in a different suit in the spring.
It just gets really old sometimes.
Its like the guy you know who is never right about anything but every time he has something to say, he acts as if anyone who doesn't agree with him must be an idiot, then when he is worng he goes away for a while and returns with the same attitude.
That is why THE JETS SUCK.

:rocker: .........

I don't need to e-mail anybody. What I really don't need is some green baghead searching out these idiotic "Jets are the greatest!!!!!!!!" cherry picked articles and posting them on our message board. Why would we care about this ridiculous piece of pap? If I want to see Jet fan patting himself on the back I can log on to any of the green sewerage sites out there and get literally thousands of the same, identical posts that "prove" your so-called point. It's garbage. It takes an incredible amount of raging hatred to log on here as a Jet fan and continually, day after day, week in and out, make these inane assertions, bold predictions and point by point "proofs", buttressed by some arcane site's "opinion" and then, when confronted, try to pull what amounts to taking your ball and going home.

How about just a desire to talk football with fans who have a different perspective? All I've seen you do is trash the "trolls." Talk football.

Nice work..but ofcourse, according to any jets fan, none of this is true.

Not sure how you can write those past two posts and still claim I'm the one with the hatred problem.

If you actually took the time to read the article instead of mashing your fists on the keyboard in blind rage, then you would see the article is written by an unbiased party and brings up a lot of the same criticisms the Pats fans here keep harping on. There is plenty of Jet bashing fodder in there if you can take a minute out from yelling at the sky.

Priceless.

EXAMPLE 1: Sure TJ got cut but the deal they gave to LT is actually more than what TJ signed for in KC. The Jets weren't the only ones who thought that TJs real market value was a lot less than what he was due to earn. Not to mention Jones looked horrible in the champ game.

EXAMPLE 2: The Jets didn't save much at all by cutting Faneca. Fail to mention the 6 blocks missed was also the league high for a guard.

EXAMPLE 3: They signed a player they didn't really need. Not sure how spending money for additional players makes them cheap.

EXAMPLE 4: Kerry Rhodes was benched during the season because he couldn't keep up with the defensive game plan. He was a non factor for the majority of the season so i'm not sure why they would want to keep his contract. If Kerry had a very good year your argument would hold more water.

EXAMPLE 5: Again, they went out and got these players whom they really didn't need. Not sure how spending more makes them cheap.

Refresh my memory and tell me who the Pats went out and signed this year.

Oh I forgot this is the same team who has their star all world QB take less pay so they can surround him with mediocre players.

I don't know if you're being serious about this or not, but you're lending credence to the people who call the Pats cheap for all of the same reasons.
