I guess I can take you questioning my level of fandom with regards to the Knicks as a waving of the white flag with regards to discussing Jets football. Have I come in and shut down the whole 'Jets Suck' thread with verifiable facts, pragmatic & practical reasoning, and rational theories?

Nope, you came in with outlandish claims, semi-understood facts, irrational responses, and theories that hold no water under the simplest of scrutiny...and to tie it all together- you haven't shut down the thread, it will last long after you have run away with the tail between your legs.

Because trying to converse with a Jets fan who's taken the time to go to a Patriots forum and argue their superiority is like throwing twigs at a brick wall. You guys beat two massive chokers in the playoffs and got ripped apart by the Colts.

The Jets have a history of overrating the talent on their roster and not recognizing when players need to go.

They did that in 2004 after going 10-6 and went 4-12 the next year. Then in 2006 they went 10-6 again, over-estimated their talent and went 4-12 again. No way they were going to do in after this last season. Whatever we lose in the rushing game I believe we'll make up for in pass protection. Faneca was a liability on pass-blocking. I don't know why people can't see that. The Cardinals will definitely find out.

I was unaware of and quite frankly shocked to learn some rather ground breaking information regarding last years Jet win over the Pats.

A thread on this board made it quite clear that Belichick, in a most clever and ingenious plan, decided to lose to the Jets on the purpose in order to both light a fire under the Pats and give the Jets a false sense of confidence.

Once again, Belichick has shown why he is the best in the business.
