I admit I'm not up on all the Tim Tebow highlight reels...and you know why, Ironman?

take a good guess...you're a smart guy....let's start with..I am a Patriot fan...let's follow that up with I've seen probably 10,000 times more Patriots related events in my lifetime starting with the first game they ever played in the old AFL than you could ever hope to..add to that the expectations of ANYONE who would sign on to a Patriots fan board as far as the perspectives one will get...to wit, Tim Tebow's performances versus the New England Patriots...among all the other players and plays that WE, Patriot fans, evaluate and argue over, we use what we see first hand from our Patriot perspective.

I don't care about Tim Tebow's college career. I don't care how he looked against any other NFL team. I KNOW what he played like against the Patriots and all I want from him as a Patriot is to make the Patriots a BETTER team if he can. His you tube highlights are not following him into THIS locker room. The memory of his 28 yard sack will most definitely be front and center among Mayo, Ninko and Vince though...and THAT you can you tube and broadcast to the world.

I know I exasperate you sometimes but you have to admit, I called this infestation back when he was first signed. Your point about the gameday thread is exactly what I feared right from jump street. The more I think about it, the more I come to realize I don't really participate in the gameday free for all because of all the knee jerk chicken little posts but THIS season? I'm actually entertaining a morbid desire to see how this plays out...a could descend into complete chaos...a Dali nightmarescape of crashing minute to minute hopes interspersed with plaintive cries for redemption via the Chosen Express.

Perhaps things have gotten too mundane here. Perhaps this season should become one of total immersion into the surreal battle between good and evil...Hoodies vs. Goodies?

And, yes, you seem to pour it on a bit too much (IMO) sometimes, but that's part of your charm, as are the posts where you just lose it in general. I harbor no ill will towards you, at all, and I think you're a great asset to the board.

Deus, I have a suggestion. The Tebow troll infestation was inevitable. Instead of taking one word of their parables seriously, I've found much amusement in their words. Read their posts in a great many fashion. Try reading them in Chinese voices, use phonetics and grunting to replace words, hell grab a beer (or eight) and read them drunk. It's bloody hilarious.

The Patriots QB2 is has a very important role to play. They need to be able to seamlessly run the offense as Brady would run it. The Patriots offense is complicated and difficult to learn, each offensive player learns their role. The QB2 must take advantage of that by running the same offense. Now sure, they may not be as accurate or make decisions as quickly or as well, but they must be able to call the plays and execute.

That means Mallet will be the number 2.
