Because they were so bad before that. The Patriots have been consistently winning games all season so they don't give off he impression theyve been hot. Obviously they are playing better now, but they've been winning all season so No one takes notice

I usually try to avoid sports radio and TV sports talk, but with holidays and way more time at home, I failed. I don't know how many times I heard a long sports discussion preceded by "Other than the Patriots"

No smart people actually believe it.. sincerely.. They just know that calling the Pats the Cheaters pisses off NE fans, so some of them will keep doing it, especially Steeler fans.

There are a few really stupid fans who thinks Brady/Belichick/Adams actually do know what every defense is doing ahead of time because of some manner of cheating but they are very few.

There are also some who just look at the amazing results, and literally think "no way"... "they are up to something".

It some ways it is very annoying, but in other ways I love how pathetic they are. Jets fans just literally will type "The Cheats" like it is normal conversation about the New England team, as if they are not acknowledging how ridiculously greater the Patriots are than everyone else.
